You know what gets to me? The really simple but emotional music the moment Swift ascends the mountain. It's really quirky, just like the gnomes but takes that opening theme and creates a perfect combination of sorrow, happiness and love which is exactly what we're watching here.

The show that scarred me for life. To this day - and I'm now 43. I remember watching this as a child. We all loved it. Parents and children alike. Then this final - FINAL - episode. We all cried. By all, I mean the entire nation. Nowadays, I wait for shows to end before I even start watching them. It means I sometimes start watching a show years after the first season aired, so that I can ensure I know how it ends before investing so much into it - only for 2 beloved characters to die and turn into trees

I will not forget the lesson you shared with me..... *Took a step back and watched as they all transformed into apple trees. Tears fell from my eyes as the pedals of the sunflowers flew by them all* Perfect...... They are all perfect...... *knelt in prayer and mourned for the loss* 6:17 *Watches from the top of tge hill as Swift follows after his vixen companion and smiles* Life finds a way. My mom bought me the DVD collection for Christmas, since I used to watch the show all the time when I was little. I binged watched, got to this episode, and proceeded to cry man tears like I was Niagra Falls! I DO NOT remember this episode at all! I actually remember the episode before this one, but either my poor child mind couldn't handle it and blocked it out, or the channel it was on (I can't even remember what channel it was back then in the late 80s) simply didn't air it. Maybe I lucked out and missed it.
