Need to make a Caney trip asap. Going to Dale Hollow in a couple weeks. Great video as always Richard. Tight lines 🎣
@Betterdaysfishing2 жыл бұрын
Never been to Dale hollow. Not above the damn or below the dam. That's one place I've got to go!

@@Betterdaysfishing it looks like the walleye that you caught was down river closer to stonewall than it was Bettys island? Would that be correct? Or did I misjudge the video.
@Betterdaysfishing2 жыл бұрын
@@FishingWithDL yes sir! We were near the end of our trip. I tend to find more walleyes close to Stonewall than anywhere else on the river

I caught two drum last year and both of the lousy buggers spiked me when they fell off in the boat. From now on I'm going to try to unhook them in the water. They may be good to eat but not that good.

This float is 6 MI and the pace slows considerably near the end.

You know someone swimming could get tangled in line that heavy and not be able to make it back to the surface. Fisherman should think of others in every aspect of water sports. Before they go fishing for Moby Dick in the local River. That dude with the parade must have been completely spooled by something.

I would have a hard time letting that walleye go if it was a keeper
@Betterdaysfishing2 жыл бұрын
I didn't have a cooler with ice or a stringer and I wasn't planning on keeping any fish. Usually I don't release any keeper walleye! That's good eating
