Nice! I too just bought the SAF no 3 trousers. Gonna remove the belt loops, add side adjusters and shorten them into shorts. Literally a free pair of sartorial shorts!

Great tips…. I will be in Singapore shortly to checkout a few of the sartorial gems out there… I do need some alterations done while I’m there… are you open to sharing the contact info for your seamstress/tailor?

Nice! Check out my vid on menswear stores in SG kzbin.info/www/bejne/moukhmCQlN6GoJY Mine's just a seamstress from my local wet market. If you only require simple alterations, then head to suburban malls or wet markets for the cheapest rates. Tailors will charge more, but are more accessible in the city area. I'm sure the sales rep from any menswear store can point you to the nearest seamstress. Happy shopping!

At that price I'd go custom at proper cloth, S&M, collaro, luxire etc
