Why does there seem to be more sharks around than there was say 20 years ago.?

It seems to be the case in a lot of places around the world. Maybe a change in fishing methods that don't target sharks as much commercially. Or just changing eco system. But there are lots of them for sure, and typically the more sharks the better state the fishery is in on a whole.
