The Gremlin - The Pyzel Gremlin is the shorter, wider and flatter rockered cousin of the Pyzel Ghost and Phantom models. In effect, it’s a step-down Phantom, designed to make the most of average conditions and in reality the vast majority of waves we encounter at home and on our travels throughout Europe and the Canaries etc.
The Phantom - It was soon apparent that the Ghost was at it’s best when the waves were shoulder high and above and that a ‘step-down’ version was required for the majority of surfers who aren’t blessed with pristine 6ft + conditions when surfing their home breaks. The Phantom is a scaled down version of the Ghost with a little more foam where you need it.
The Ghost - The Pyzel Surfboards Ghost has been John John Florence’s go-to shortboard for pretty much any decent waves encountered on the tour and is the magic stick he rode to his second World Title! Initially designed to tackle powerful and hollow waves, the Ghost has proven to be comfortable in anything from offshore reefs to heavybeachies and point-breaks.
