I know this is an older video,but I was happy to watch as you were very unsure about the location at first, and then just fell in love with the experience and embraced it. I am from the Coloma area and we tend to lose the wonder of this place, because we live it every day. James Marshall and John Sutter are big names up here, you see them everywhere. Thanks for appreciating what we tend to take for granted!!!

Lol yeah I had some anxiety at first from not knowing where we were going or what we were doing, and also noticing all the smoke from the fire that was in the area… sometimes unfortunately those types of feelings can come across as having a bad attitude for me, haha but once I settled in and relaxed I really enjoyed the area and the experience. Even with all the smoke that area was very very beautiful and just feeling the history of it all was amazing and something I will never forget. 😊 Thanks again for the kind comment and thanks for watching. ☺️🤙🏽

@@WhereWeWild thanks for reading my comment on an old video! I hope you guys make the trip again, there is a lot more to see in the area. We like to say, that living in this area, you can be snow skiing in the morning, and surfing in the afternoon. Everything is like 2 hours away from everything else. And the history is everywhere you look 😊.
