Fazbear Frights is one of the more debated FNAF book series out there. With no official statement from Scott Cawthon himself we're left to wonder, are these books important? Are these characters in the games? Well hopefully that's what we're here today to figure out. Because tbh Five Nights at Freddy's could always use some new human characters.

So some things about Eleanor I wanted to clear up that you mentioned but not really fully or just got kinda wrong: - In to be beautiful Eleanor doesn't give Sarah the pendant she instead creates a new one for her, this is also pretty clear with Jessica having one in Frailty, meaning that Eleanor was able to basically mass produce these by using her agony and remnant. - She's capable of all of the things you've mentioned before she entered her form in epilouge 10 as a big plot point in the proior stingers is that she's been giving these memories to Larson ever since the fight with the Agony/Miscreation or whatever you want to call it. - Eleanor doesn't want to be a creature made of agony and remnant she already IS, she's simply consuming as much as she possibly can to gain more power as "Eleanor" isn't the doll animatronic instead it's the agony creature that's using it as a physical body. - Also a less major thing is the whole Agony thing, she's not helping she's literally creating, Afton's far too weak to do such a thing as Jake says, hell he calls him harmless however Eleanor's agony was able to supercharge him enough to fight Jake and Andrew and then Larson, she's literally using Afton as her cover up for being the bad guy. (proof of this is basically everything Jake says about the Agony and the Agony slowly dying off even before the Puppet had attacked it) :3 i'm an Eleanor nerd so here

Into The Pit (the next game) is going to about time travel so it seems likely that older mysteries will be put to bed so newer mysteries can take centre stage

I find it kinda interesting that a repeated theme in these stories is characters trying to collect a LOT of agony. The stitchwraith wants to collect as many agony infested things as possible to try and get rid of them. William Afton uses all that agony to become the agony amalgamation. Dr. Phineas Taggart was collecting items with agony to try and bring the stitchwraith to life. Eleanor wants to collect agony to try and become a complete agony being. Throughout these stories, characters are trying to collect as much agony as they possibly can. Could this be connected to Afton's search for remnant? Idk just something I thought of while watching this video. What are y'all's thoughts?

20:52 So, following that logic, Afton's death in the lake wouldn't be the end of this one, but rather a parallel to the Springlock failure from the games, the movie, and the novel trilogy. In the other three timelines, Afton dies by being crushed by the springs and choking on his blood, all because the souls of the 5 children were chasing him. In Frights, Afton is chased by Charlie, and dies by being torn apart and drowned in a lake. It would make sense to me that this death of the lake was a parallel to the Springlock fault.

I want to recommend Dual Process Theory's video. Its 2 hours long, and I think they make a good argument even if I disagrer with one of their majour arguments. I do however, think they might be onto something with their idea that Michael is the vengeful spirit. On a semi-related note, is anyone else disatisfied with the name code in the logbook? I dont have it myself, but ever since Cassidy was first discovered Ive had doubts as to whether weve actually solved it.

Actually, I would appreciate it if someone could explain the Dual Process' explanation as to why Golden Freddy has two glowing eyes in the bad ending. If they claim Cassidy is the only spirit within Golden Freddy, what is their justification? I tried to relisten to that part of the video, but I didn't get it. I really liked their theory, but at this point, I have to assume there is a second spirit and they were mistaken on that particular point. Golden duos has basically been disconfirmed 1. Golden Freddy has one spirit in every other continuity. 2. Story was supposed to end back at 3 and Scott said Matt Pat got everything right in his Fnaf two video meaning golden Freddy has 1 spirit 3.Crying child dies in the hospital not the restaurant in order for you to possess an animatronic you have to be in the vicinity or you have to really want to be (he does neither) 4.Cassidy is inside molten Freddy if golden Freddy had two spirits then there would be 6 things getting turned into one 5.If crying child was golden Freddy, how the hell did he let William use his suit He should’ve logically been golden Freddy for 2 years so he could’ve just teleported 6.Where is crying child in follow me he’s nowhere 7.Jake and CC aren’t parallels they only have 2 things in common and that’s it 8.Fnaf 1 was an originally a standalone game. Meaning that golden Freddy originally had 1 spirit 9.World implies he doesn’t possess anything 10.stitchwraith and golden Freddy literally have nothing in common. They don’t even have the same powers golden freddy is not touching somebody’s hand and getting their whole backstory. 11. Golden Freddy is now being portrayed as having one eye which is basically Scott killing the theory. This is shown in the guide 12: Cassidy having more control over him doesn’t make any sense because that’s his suit he possessed at first and wasn’t it for 2 years 13: happiest day for Cassidy Scott has said he’s only made one recon to his story and that happened during sister location Cassidy is talking to the memory of crying child in the logbook hence why he can’t remember who he is. She’s able to talk to him due to BV pouring his agony into Fredbear.

Scott said Mat got mostly everything right also the story got expanded after 3 so that's not good evidence. 3. A lot of people are shifting over to Crying Child possessing the Fredbear Plush not Golden Freddy directly. Two possessed objects, including one being a walkie talkie, occupying one thing is supported by Stitchline. 4. Golden Freddy technically speaking is still one thing even if it's 2 souls. 5. We have no evidence that Crying Child wants to stop William. 6. He's with Michael based on the security logbook. 7. Parallel is defined as "a person or thing that is similar or analogous to another" Analogous is defined as "comparable in certain respects, typically in a way which makes clearer the nature of the things compared". There is no reason they can't be parallels. 8. Redundant see point 2. 9. How does Fnaf World imply that? 10. Stitchwrath and Golden Freddy aren't meant to be the same. Just some concepts. 11. One eye doesn't kill the theory. It could imply CC moved on a Cassidy didn't. 12. If CC possesses the Fredbear Plush this doesn't matter. Also Cassidy being more vengeful would also be a reason to have more control. 13. Happiest Day is literally CC minigame flipped how are you gonna argue it's for Cassidy. We don't even know if it was Cassidy birthday when they died. Some points of my own: 14. The Bow Tie theory also supports two souls. 15. How is it that there is 1 character that is linked to the game always being left out of these theories? I am talking about Suzie, yes her story doesn't have any connection to the SIthwrath but it does have a big impact on the game it self and goes into who she died and became Chica. It is the 4th book Step Closer in the chapter Coming Home where we are introduced to her. We also learn that she had a sister and a mother who are both burdened with the death of Suzy who is still with them during the day even though they do not see her, since she is only there in spirit. And she was looking for a doll that her and her sister have fought over. It is a very touching story and probably one of my fav out of those stories. Why isn't any one even mentions her?

This was a great theory, especially since I haven't had time to read the books! Couldn't, on the flipside, the books be the accurate events of the early FNAF games, if Scott (or what his name is in the books as the "rogue indie developer" / Someone who was hired by Fazbear secretly to make the first three games while being tortured by illusion discs) made the first three games with limited information on Fazbear's history? It seems like his character knew that there were these tragedies from internet rumours, or newspaper articles, but probably didn't know Cassidy's name like he doesn't know Crying Child's name. Maybe the unreliable narrator of the first few games explains the inconsistencies in names. Because Scott's in-universe character was perhaps wrong.

I've just noticed something what if princess Quest is Cassidy traversing through Vanessa's mind after glitchtrap infected her. I get it it makes no sense but in reality it does in more ways than 1. Some common knowledge is that springtrap/William was turnt into glitchtrap by putting spring Bonnie's chip into the video game and this happens after the events of fnaf 6 . And what happens after fnaf 6 Cassidy tortured William by entering his mind what if this caused Cassidy to also be transferred into the game and when glitchtrap infected Vanessa with his virus Cassidy went along with the virus to protect her. What helps with this theory is in fnaf ar when Vanessa writes those weird messages. I think that's Cassidy fighting back but loses control this is what happens in pq1 and when we continue as Gregory in the other pq games we awaken Cassidy to fight back again and break Vanessa free. But since that's not the real ending I assume during hw 2 we awaken Cassidy with the other pq game and in the ending it's Cassidy controling Vanessa instead

The Eleanor description makes it seem like remnant even a small piece of it is much more powerful than agony. But perhaps fragile to outside influence. Aka fire.

I don’t think the Vengeful Spirit debate is about “Who is Golden Freddy?” I think it’s just about who the kid face is. No matter whether the books are parallels or not, it’s implied that the Vengeful Spirit is attached to William and has been since he got springlocked, keeping him alive ever since with the end goal of making him suffer. KidFace appears all over the place in UCN, in vents, doorways, even the game over screen, but Golden Freddy only appears if you crank up his AI value. Since the “He” mentioned in UCN seems to be referring to KidFace and not Golden Freddy, and Cassidy seems to be a girl, it probably isn’t Cassidy who’s keeping William alive. And Cassidy and TOYSHK don’t even really line up personality wise. Cassidy seems to be a helpful spirit who wants Afton to die, but TOYSHK seems to be a noncooperative spirit who wants to keep William alive in order to torture him. TLDR: TOYSHK isn’t Golden Freddy or Cassidy, he’s probably something else even if the Frights books are just parallels.

So, going based off of the Andrew/Cassidy parallel, and the whole drowning in your own blood inside of a springlock suit thing, as well as assuming the Golden Duo thing to be somewhat correct, would this mean that William was intentionally killing before the Bite Victim was bitten, and then the Bite Victim went on to eventually possess the suit as well, whilst Cassidy also did? One thing about Jake and CCs fathers; When in the context of who they are/what they do; While Jake's father is in a war, what if that is how William sees himself? Being a soldier, in an evergoing war against those that caused his kid to suffer? And Jake's father dying in the war...could be a child-friendly version told to him when William died? (Whoever saw William in the safe rooms/was the one to decide them being walled in, was the one talking to Andrew, telling him his father is gone) This isn't actually just a good defence for their parental figures, but as a bridge for them as well. Because if this is the "timeline" of the two; - CC gets bit -Jake is diagnosed with Cancer, and in the hospital -Both try to "continue" their lives, us seeing what CC did through the minigames is perhaps = Jake's adventures After a while, knowing that the boys wont survive, they try to help them at least ease their suffering But -Jake's father died in the war, and thus he'll never return -William gets springlocked, and as far as anyone learning that, would imagine him to die from it, especially once they seal up the saferoom; [A stretch] and wants to tell Michael his dad won't return, and that he's too far for Michael to ever see again (Making sure he doesn't get the idea to go look for William. Perhaps either to cover up for what they did, what William became [his presumable mangled corpse] Or maybe to just try to let the world move on from this evil.) TLDR; The differences in their father's demise, isn't a point against them being comparable/being a plot hole, but instead a bridge between them? What if we are simply overthinking it and looking into the details that doesn't matter as much as we make them see? - Kid gets hospitalized - Dad communicates yo yhem through a toy Trying to help them by providing at least letting them pretend to explore the world, even if its an impossible dream - Kid gets worse - moving to hospice - Dad disappear/wont br heard from again - Kid dies in hospital Presumable linked to their toy/animatronic's disappearance.

except William Afton is directly responsible for the death of the crying child/ his son, and has killed all 3 of his children himself with Elizabeth being the only one he murdered accidentally. The other 2 he did it intentionally, and 1 of them (the crying child) he did in front of his eldest child Michael in order to gain a follower by awakening Michael's serial killer mentality. That's why William Afton (while behind the remote controls to the springlock suit) closed springlock Freddy's mouth on the crying child's head at that exact moment. The apple didn't fall far from the tree with Michael... that is until he learned about remnant. That said Michael was a devoted follower of his father because he killed his brother in front of him.

Love ya Rye but seeing as things are going, I honestly think that CassidyTOYSHNK is slowly becoming with the likes of Mikehell, Miketrap, and Dream Theory. There is no way to parallel Andrew/Cassidy without blatantly cherry-picking what's parallel and what's not. Andrew is a 6th victim that doesn't possess anything, and is directly attached to William. Besides pre-supposing that Cassidy is vengeful (reminder, she's never been shown as more vengeful than the others). There is absolutely nothing that connects them. We literally see the difference between them with the logbook and how Andrew treats jake. Cassidy is nice and caring, Andrew is a mean and rude brat. Whenever the vengeful SPIRIT, not the suit, not the animatronic, not a faz coin, the SPIRIT is referenced, it is a he. Cassidy has shown twice to be a girl. With the novels and the logbook showing an illustration of the Puppet giving Cass a cake at happiest day. Best Wishes

I love this theory! The red lake makes so much sense for drowning in your own blood. And of course William Afton in the Silver Eyes knows what it's like to die in a springlock suit, because that's how he learned. By killing Cassidy in such a violent way, it caused the vengeful spirit's agony to inhabit it. Also, the crying child could be the second spirit in Golden Freddy, since it's probably an original springlock suit along with Golden Bonnie/Springtrap. Makes sense CC's head getting crushed in GF/Fredbear's mouth in FNaF 4 could be grounds for him possessing the suit, as well. Question is, which death came first, Cassidy or CC?

4 a long while, I’ve had a distrust of the fnaf reality. The themes seem more important than the logic. & it makes me think that the lore & continuity is designed less important than the messages. One of the reasons why I believe the books aren’t in the same continuity as the games is because it would make a mangle out of the Fnaf lore. The game lore is already complicated enough as it is. If everything in the books are canon, then that would mean that Fazbear Entertainment was picked up as soon as the Fnaf 6 fire happened and the company was already making progress to shut down as there are multiple Fazbear locations throughout all of America. It would mean that Elenor is still around and may have some involvement of what’s happening now. And Afton would have to go from Hedorah rabbit falling apart in a lake to Glitchtrap, which is much more confusing than him just going from trapped soul in UCN to haunted digital virus.

ALL books are canon, but whether or not you believe they're in the same continuity, that's your choice at this point since it isn't clear if they are, that's literally what Rye Toast explained here. I don't even know why people are getting canon and continuity mixed up in the first place. Matpat explained the difference ears ago, literally in the days of Sister Location. Yes Fnaf lore has been a mess for a long time but that's not an excuse to shove the books into everything and make it 10x worse. Afton himself needs to be involved in Glitchtrap's identity in some way becuase Mimic - Afton = Glitchtrap/Burntrap has many holes that people just don't want to acknowledge for some reason and heavily flawed.

That's your opinion, I think it doesn't affect literally anything, it's all opinion based. Its implied the Mimic saw the MCI (likely due to the bots being mass produced). So a mimicking bot sees a yellow rabbit do bad things. So a mimic bot's programming wants to Mimic afton. In Help Wanted, A bot's programming is scanned into the VR game, causing Glitchtrap. A yellow rabbit that does bad things within the VR game. Almost like they're the same thing 🤯 The Mimic is described in the books to look strikingly similar to how Burntrap looks, minus the rabbit costume, that can easily be explained by Vanny making a costume for it.

For anyone who wants to get more depth on Eleanor, I highly recommend NotRealNameNotAtAll's channel. She also covered the Stitchwraith. In my opinion, Andrew just TOYSHK from UCN and the Stitchwraith is just Golden Freddy but instead of Cassidy and the Crying Child, it's Andrew and Jake. I also like William Afton's Agony Blast fueling his ability to Always Come Back better than how they started keeping him around in the games before pivoting to The Mimic.

Akuma means demon in Japanese but a kuma is a bear while a coma and a comma can change the "meaning of a sentence". Stupid idea. While listening to this I realized something, what if Crying Child is more parallel to Jake than we realize. What if the events we see in FNAF4 are all things that happen are actually the crying Child experiencing them from bed. That the reason for the Fredbear plush following you isn't that it is everywhere, but hinting the crying Child isn't actually moving. The plush is guiding him through memories for some purpose.
