Just a correction: There is no Turkish part in Cyprus. It is the occupied by Turkey part of the island, since 1974 when Turkey invaded the island! This occupied part is not recognized as a legal state by any country except of course Turkey.

No, actually not everybody knows that there is no Turkish part and that this part to which you are referring is an illegal state. Occupied since 1974 and heavily settlered by the Turkish army. Many Turks were brought since then to the island, with an aim to change the demographics of the population. Anyway, it's a big topic... I hope you keep enjoying Cyprus and looking forward to see more of your videos. Liebe Grüße aus Berlin :)

Wow, thank you! This means a lot to me. :) Good questions! First, the restrictions are getting easier, and it's even possible to sit outside of restaurants since this month. Why
@DanDascalescu-dandv3 жыл бұрын
Honest question about the proximity to an airport: why do people consider it such a big advantage? You say @2:05 that Larnaca is 5 minute's drive to the airport. 1. That means lots of noise all the time from planes landing and taking off. 2. What's the big deal if Larnaca is 5 minutes from the airport instead of 50? Even if you travel once a week, you save an hour and a half a week, which is nothing compared to the whole time spent traveling (packing, driving to the airport anyway, going through security, boarding, the actual flight, flight delays etc.). You can save far more time by living close to that promenade in Limassol, which you visited 4-5 times a week.
@Rico3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dan, fair point. I wouldn't want to live too close to the airport either because of the noise. However, when I travel weekly I personally wouldn't want to drive that often to the airport, and also if you have your own car you need to park it for the time of your travel. I live about 30minutes from the airport and this is a very convenient distance. Everyone decides on their own what they value most. Have a nice day and time! :)
@DanDascalescu-dandv3 жыл бұрын
@@Rico For those who fly *weekly*, it may make sense to live very close to the airport... If by living there they don't end up too far from places they do frequent weekly (such as that promenade :)
