Which E-bike Frame to choose? Step Over vs Step through…

one reason I prefer a step over is because that top bar is often easier to get a U lock around -- especially on an ebike that has a thick battery accommodating down trunk. (yes I know that's not sufficient for locking a bike for any length of time, but when I'm just running into a restaurant to pick up an order, and only need to defend against someone running off with it while I'm inside for 2 minutes....)

hi Shannon ! i got specialized roll elite black step-thru w bbs02. rode men's ebikes since 2007 . this "girls" ebike is for sure a big fave so far . its easy to let folks test an ebike for 1st time no ,atter how short or tall they are

Thank you this was exactly the information I was looking for. I'm 6'4" and finding the right frame on any two wheeled vehicle has always been difficult for me.

For moderate forest service fire trails, dirt 2 track, and occasional single track trails do you feel the step through bikes are adequately strong? Specifically looking at the 26x4 hardtail bikes. 53 yo 215# 6ft tall male with external plumbing.

I thought frame was about: M | 16” Frame 5’6”+ / 30”+ inseam L | 18” Frame 5’10”+ / 32”+ inseam

Shannon great information. names Ron and we are Instant Power 322 a very small KZbin reviewers.We this year are completely changing our format. We will no longer be doing any cheap bikes coming out of the Far East. Frankly I have had to send back way too many ebikes where the company's did not have a phone number. Yes we are that small where we only get the junk. Getting off track we decided that we would be buying all of the bikes we review. And yes Mark who has been wonderful has extended us very good numbers on the Juggernaut Ultra 3 . All of our reviews will be 4 parts over the course of a full year , we feel that 4 videos will give everyone a chance too see the bike 1st going over the bike in great detail 2nd riding the bike and having people of all ages get on the bike . 3rd summer time New England is gorgeous . 4 th gorgeous fall colors and our final time explaining the bikes good points and why we decided to buy the Juggernaut Ultra 3. . Oh I completely agree in Step Throughs. Unless you are hard core going over rough terrain we feel Step throughs should actually be large part of any quality ebike company arsenal . We had 5 company's offer there Mid Motor ebikes for sale at 50% off. one they where not as good as what you folks have. One actually was very good but it was a Step Over, your not going to get a lot of folks on a step over frame. Only one company actually offered a bike with stellar components it came from FLX now SuperHuman it's a touring bike and my gosh what a deal. Only problem it's the only step though bike they make. So this year we have 2 excellent mid motor ebikes , as soon as we get the Juggernaut ultra 3 , I have already been reading about the components you use on the 3 . Very impressive we should have the first review up with say a week after we get the bike. Just remember the one with the most toys wins. And we love toys.. Al The Best Ron Instant Power 322
