Two great streamers. Great job contrasting features but being clear the sound was excellent from both, Antipodes getting the nod in your experience

Thank you for the kind words. Two outstanding units for sure.

Fantastic video, Mike! I tend to fall into the Antipodes camp for most use cases...they just have so much gas in the tank. Though I have also used multiple Innuos products in the past and they are a superb company with a ton to offer! Also, Qobuz Mafia!!!! 😎

Thanks for watching and I'm glad you liked the video! I wanted to make sure people realize the Innuos is still a very, very good sounding unit. Had I not had the Antipodes to compare it to back to back I would be quite happy with the Innuos.

@@GreekAudioGeek Fully agree with you. Innuos is great product backed by a great company. I steered one of my uncles into a Zen Mini Mk3 as his first CD archiver/streamer and he loves it. On an unrelated note, I also share your aversion to unrefined, unnatural treble in audio. I'm sensitive to subtle changes/improvements in this area that others often miss. Nails on a chalkboard when the good stuff isn't there!!

@@GreekAudioGeek For sure. That said, as a streamer only, Innuos's Sense app is just fantastic. The LMS skin app is rough with UI/UX. My new Antipodes K21 sounds great, but the UX/UI experience has been less than stellar. Almost makes me want to go back to Innuos and get a Pulsar. Ha

@@justaute Huh. The innuos was nice for sure but I don't feel like when using my Antipodes with Squueze I'm missing that much from UI/UX. Not saying I am right, just a personal observation.

@@GreekAudioGeek interesting. Antipodes sure sounds nice, though. Have yet to add any 3rd-party feet to it.

Did you test Hifi Rose RS 130 vs. Lumin U2 Vs. INNUOS Pulsar ?
@@GreekAudioGeek What the cable and fuse you are using for Puritan ?
@GreekAudioGeekАй бұрын
@@andrismorozovs2399 I'm using a 20amp version of the STEALTH Audio Dream 20-20 power cable. I don't mess with fuses.
@andrismorozovs2399Ай бұрын
@@GreekAudioGeek Go for fuses, you will be very surprised !!! - different fuses in different links of chain - that is very important key for the best results !!!

Mike, noticed you mentioned “hours of break in”. The Pulsar in particular requires over a 1000hrs of music play. Pulsar owners have experienced a huge waking event at around 5-6 weeks. After full break-in the Pulsar sound’s like it has had sonic testosterone injection. Personally, I’ve never experienced this leap of improvement after 45 days of break in from any audio component.

Thank you David. The unit was a demo so I know it had use prior to me receiving it though I am not sure how much. I agree with you that break in is SUPER important. My Aqua La Scala tube tube DAC for instance needed close to 600 hours before it hit its groove.

I had the Zenith MK3, and without a reclocker, the USB is too noisy.
@GreekAudioGeek8 ай бұрын
Interesting. I will say on the Pulsar it did sound quite good.
@vmpty8 ай бұрын
@@GreekAudioGeek The Pulsar has an integrated lite USB reclocker, this is one of the main reasons the sound improved.
