Yeah, that's how I felt about it. A volcanic in one hand, a lemat in the other, a Lancaster on your shoulder and a boltac on your back makes you able to effectively use the five ammo fed groups.

I think the double action is great as a punishing, unforgiving weapon. That's why I main it. I let its low accuracy get the better of me when I spam fire, forcing me to slow down, and when I have to shoot, I have to take note of all fatal shot zones. To make it more punishing, I set my game to free aim, and I hardly use deadeye while also playing on a stock PS4 controller. I'm not a sucker for punishment, tho. I still use bright colored iron sights.

I own a Schofield and the hammer is so smooth I can pull it with my pinky. I love it so much, mine has just a 5inch barrel, but its a giant compared to my SA Army. You definitely feel like a brute holding a Schofield.

Everyone forgets the double action has the highest chance of making an enemy bleed to death. In the story mode, it makes all the difference in the world because it can become the only revolver to take an enemy down with one bullet to the body.

To be fair, the lamat's slow reload is only a problem if you still have enemies alive at that point, single revolver is 9 rounds at medium and a special one for up close, if you dual wield that is 18 medium range rounds before reloading.

The low damage high rate of fire is exactly why I like the double action... If you use regular bullets, it's a pea shooter that You can just bully enemies with in dual wield. Great for those bleeders when you hit an artery

I find the double action much easier to use in online with the paint it black perk and the real time dead eye it has. As long as you hit headshots quickly, any of the handguns are good in online though.

The M1873, THE Colt Single Action Army, the Model P, the Cattleman's Revolver. Many names for one of the coolest guns in the west. My favorite goto, wins on pure style alone for me. Looks gorgeous, feels fantastic, an iconic favorite. It's always in my compendium at the end of the game as my number 1 most used by a wide margin. I don't care if she's the best in the west, she's won my heart for sure.

In RDR2 I used a Schofield specifically modified to look similar to Dutch’s except with blued steel rather than blackened steel, mirroring how close Dutch and Arthur once were. I used this revolver for all of my time as Arthur, but only for the final mission as John, American Venom

I always preferred Lemat. I played on PC, so it’s easy asf to just get headshots every time so capacity matters more than damage. Plus you get an emergency “DB shotgun” if you’re dual wielding.

Best revolver would be the Navy for accuracy and stopping power. Second I would say it’s the LeMat, 9 rounds plus 1 shotgun round when you use up your bullets is pretty badass. Schofield is pretty good, saying it’s #3 doesn’t do it justice, you can dual wield, one navy and your choice or LeMat or Schofield.
