Have an '04 S55 W220 with the famous M113K, I do not agree with his statements. As of '03's upgrade a lot of issues have been resolved. Mine has been very reliable for a 20 year old

Had a 1991 300SE that was perfect. Mercedes cheapened their quality in response to Asian competition in the 2000+ years. I went to the Lexus LS that was perfect.

Not all the 2007 S classes with that defective balance shaft gear problem. Its through a certain VIN so you can get a deal on a 2007, just make sure you get one past the affected VIN 30 088611.
