I agree. I have a 14.5” with EOTech and qd 3x magnifier and a 16” with a Trijicon 1-8x LPVO with top RMR. They both have their pros and cons. The 14.5” with EOTech and magnifier is best for 100 yards and in and with NODs. The 16” with LPVO is better for anything beyond. There is no perfect setup for all applications. I learned though a lot of trial and error to be intentional with my rifle/optic setups.

I have to agree with you brother, my 16” rocks an lpvo w a dot at the 45 (Nods are outside of my budget rn) then rock a prism w/ 3x magnifier on my 11.5”. I personally think it’s optimal to utilize the 16’s full ballistic capability while also being able to identify targets with a magnifier on a shorter 11.5. Great video as usual.
