The ones who live is a superior show. I don't feel that Daryl Dixon really represents the walking Dead as we know The walking Dead. I believe that the ones who live with Rick and Michonne is bringing back The walking Dead as we know it

Yeah I agree. Daryl Dixon is good, the ones who live was amazing

I agree with you 100% The Ones Who Live had excellent writing✍🏽 acting 🎭 pacing directing story plot twists unpredictability Okafor’s death Nat’s death M General Beale’s death Michonne having to put down her walker friends after the mustard gas was very emotional.

Think TOWL is by far the best due to just the level of budget and visuals it had but the last episode was such letdown and the destruction of the CRM was just a few grenades after years of buildup was a joke imo

Tie between the two series twd and ftwd, spin offs so far is Daryl, stories of the walking dead, and tie between the bottom of the barrel rick and macaroni (way too cheesy for my liking and over mushy) and the kid spin off universe (it's like Harry Potter without magic but with zombies Uber sad)

I respect all opinions even tho I disagree.

@TWDFAMILY understandable. No one can please everyone all the time. And I made a mistake about universe it was the world beyond that was scraping the bottom of the barrel with Rick and macaroni. With Rick's story it was seriously too sappy and really slow with almost no excitement. Her acting was really good in twd series but failed in the spin off. The dialogue wasn't that great either.

The ones who live was kinda wierd, not gonna lie. Way too much forced dialogue and Rickshonne's constant kisses was very distracting. Daryl has this quiet, contemplative quality to it that I really enjoy. The writing is also more consistant in its quality compared to the sometimes eye rolling moments in The Ones Who Live.

Everyone has their opinions for sure. I personally just loved seeing Rick, and the fan boy in me definitely blinds me to some of the shows flaws for sure!

I think it’s totally fair to say that it was rushed, cause it was lol. The main show introduced the CRM years ago, and while yes, we’ve been waiting to see Rick Grimes return and what happened with him, we also wanted to see what the CRM is and what their existence is for. Those first 5 episodes were handling both wants beautifully. But that final episode fumbled it all man. In my opinion, you can’t use “the point of the show was to catch us up with Rick and his reunions” as an excuse for lazy, poorly executed writing. It would’ve been so much more impactful if we got that Judith and RJ reunion is literally any other way than by speed run destroying the CRM. So much wasted potential.

The point of the show was to introduce Rick back into twd universe, and I prefer fast paced shows over slow paced ones. You can say it was rushed but I didn’t mind it being rushed cuz I never really cared that much about the CRM, I wouldn’t have really cared about getting a season 2 with more crm lore storylines, I really just wanted Rick to get back home. And in terms of saying the writing was bad for the final episode, that’s fine, but I don’t think it was bad, I think some of the dialogue was cringey, but it wasn’t the worst thing ever at all. But ending the crm storyline like that I mean i knew some people would complain, but you can never make everyone happy. I didn’t mind it tho. I didn’t care that it was rushed really. I just wanted to see Rick. I do believe the point of the show matters, because it wasn’t really about the crm it was about Rick. Sure maybe they could’ve done things better for sure, but the point of the show still was to reintroduce Rick back into the universe, show us what he’s been up to, and bring him home, have some reunions, and it did that, and I think overall it was executed pretty well. I don’t ever agree with every decision made, but I think the ones who live overall was a good show that did its job.

Neither. None of these ever hit the same level that seasons 1-5 hit.

Absolutely, nothing will ever be as good as seasons 1-6… thankfully tho the walking dead is a really good show to rewatch tho. It’s really hard to remember everything that happened during the 177 episodes. lol. So we can always go back on Netflix and rewatch! I love rewatching!
