My husband, blue's guy, and I fell in love with KWS when we heard Blue on Black. Saw KWS twice in Charlotte damn near 20 years apart. I lost my husband to COVID-19 February 19, 2019. This song will always remind me how much I love him.

I am very sorry for your loss, it is amazing how music can do that, I lost my Dad 2 years ago and everytime I hear CCR it reminds me of him!!

Today is a hard day... Feb 12. My big brothers birthday. He passed away 2 years ago. I felt so much when I listened to this years ago, watching him learn this on the guitar, but it is nothing compared to what I feel right now listening and watching this without him, on his birthday. It's even more beautiful. I understand every single note and chord now. I felt this to my soul like ne er before. he sits in heaven on his birthday and watches us while we cry. 🤷♀️😭🎶💔🎸 🎸💔

I distinctly remember the first time I heard track #7 in the car, "Right now I'd like to play a song for you. This is a song that I wrote. It's an instrumental called While We Cry". I actually pulled over and played it again so I could hear it better with the engine off and my eyes closed. I remember telling my buddies "Listen to this kid, I think he's onto something here". I was right. Thank you Kenny for the many years of dedication and inspiration. God bless, and keep on rocking!

I was sitting at my buddy's lake house on Lake Livingston in Texas. He told me I need to listen to this. He pulled me into the patio at dusk, pulled put the CD, poured me a whiskey on the rocks, lit me a smoke and said "shut up and listen". That was 20 years ago. Here I am, 20 years later, sitting on my patio, with a whiskey on the rocks in hand after a long day still enjoying every bit of it.

first time I heard it was on a Fender Anniversary CD. Had signature tracks from greats such as Buddy Guy, Buddy Holly, Hendrix, Jeff Beck - and then this incredible performance by someone I had never heard of at the time.

Beautiful brother. As a Native Louisiana Cajun from Southern Louisiana; your music and inspiration does us proud. In fact, during Covid, literally while I had covid, I wrote a song that was inspired by you and Chris Stapleton style of music. Yours predominantly on guitar style, but man... some one from Soldiers Songs and Voices told me it sound like something coming right out of Nashville today. You are an inspiration sir. Even though I'm a bit older, your talent inspires.

Beautiful playing Kenny. On top of that, you are a Mopar guy. I had a 68 Dodge Super Bee in high school in the late 70's. I kick myself every time I think about it, because I sold it for tuition money for college. Saw you back years ago in Devore, CA with Double Trouble, Ted Nugent and ZZ Top. It was cross between a biker / NRA convention and blues. I loved it. You did Voodoo Child. You brought the house down.

I saw this 'boy' at a small club on Granville St in Vancouver in ?1995, I was obsessed with both him and Johnny Lang - 2 amazing prodigies. This has to be one of THE sexiest songs I have ever heard. I am glad to see him still doing it justice as a Man. To me TBH this song is just SEX foreplay, hard going and a calm down. I am blown away that he wrote this before he was 16! Sexiest song in the world that has no vocal or anything other than a skillfully played guitar - I am so happy to see him still playing at his level

When I die I want this sublime tune played over my final moments above mother earth. Such a mournful yet achingly beautiful work of art. I never get tired of hearing it. On a completely unrelated note, would I be correct to guess that the guitar maestro is standing beside a 1985 Mercedes 500SL of the W126 family? If my guess is right, a backstage pass would be my only wish haha.
