the beginning phrases hit me like a tidal wave i replayed the video and just want to cry...this darker side of me comes out ugly and they say im the one who is crazy....i just want to leave.... but i know thats the devil talkin and im gonna fight with my faith in God that all this is for a reason and im gonna be better and find my purpose soon enough..works been hard not only with a heavy load but ppl talkin shit and ive found they hate me cuz they aint me....the concert in Concord is gonna heal parts of me although we may never meet each other the music makes me feel like you know me. Im sure the music touches a lot of people like me... we are still out here grindin 💯

completely awesome Love Whiskey Myers. Went to see them in Bridgeport, CT, unfortunately interrupted by Mother Nature and her fury. Show stopped after 7 or 8 songs.. All the really popular songs didn't play yet other then Bury My Bones (one of my favorite songs of all time) and Broken Window Serenade, plus a few new songs. I bought 4 floor tickets and suffered the consequences of weather while the show was an all weather event.. Sucks, but I will absolutely see them again, they are fucking incredible. Everybody tells me how great Blackberry Smoke is, but WM rocks with a fury right by them... Fucking awesome guys, spend a few dimes to see them and have a great time. Bring a bag and tailgate just for good measure, but you don't have to get fucked up to have a great time because they are that good live!! I'm lovin it!

Nice job Logan. Can you share your tuning and chords? I can see the A, Bm. but is that third chord is hard to see on a lefty! And can’t figure out the bridge progression. Is there an F#m? If you wouldn’t mind responding with intro, verse, chorus and bridge?

Sometimes I look in the mirror and I don't like what I see And I wonder if she'll ever know the darker side of me Is my reflection just a shell of the truth? Am I the living or am I the dying proof I'm learning to move slow I'm learning to let go Im learning most things a man my age is supposed to know I'm learning how to write I'm learning how to sleep at night I'm learning after these years how to be thankful for what I got And I carry on With a heart of stone And calloused hands Sometimes I think I'm crazy washed up in the brain As for my youth I threw most of those years away And I can't even apologize for half the things I've done Or all the nights spent looking down the wrong end of a gun But I'm learning how to love I'm learning about the lord above I'm learning that he's giving me more than anything I could dream of I'm learning how to pray a little more everyday I'm learning to accept the things about me I can't change And I carry on with a heart of stone Calloused hands I'm learning to move slow I'm learning to let go Im learning most things a man my age is supposed to know I'm learning how to love I'm learning about the lord above I'm learning that she's given me more than anything I could dream of But I carry on with a heart of stone and calloused hands Yeah I carry on with this heart of stone and calloused hands

He isn't talking about God when he says, "She's given me." It really depends on what scripture you're reading as to whether it refers to God as a she. Also, making assumptions about what God is OK with and what he isn't is tricky business. Consider this Jesus is a direct descendant of Ruth a Moabite. Who was a descendant of the incestuous relationship between Lot and his daughter. Interesting path he chose to come into the world. Maybe he doesn't mind the little things as much as you do.

@@Zekearus53”God” in the this context and in Christianity is certainly implied as gender specific! Try the Apostle’s Creed!🤭
