Been to DaveCO a few times, always a stop when I'm on the North side of Denver. Some great stuff, just wish it was closer.

I've lived in Colorado whole life never been to DaveCo I live in Englewood. Generally I go to Molly's or tried and true small liquor stores near me 🥃

Great store! Knob Creek picks are always great! Old Elk double wheat is a really nice pour! I could spend about three hours in that store and a chunk of change:) Cheers

Excellent vid! Would love to go there some day. That balcones single malt pick almost made me book a flight immediately. Such a GREAT deal on that. It’s my favorite single malt. I’d buy a case easily.

I think they want to do that but a lot of push back from the city after Covid is what I’m hearing. They can’t even let vendors hold tastings.

LOVED it. I live nearby, heres a few things: 1) The Brighton Daveco has a Rossville Union Single Barrel Cask Str Rye I LOVE but its not at Thornton. You did show a Rossville Union but its different (even different bottle). I REALLY like the Brighton one. 2) I have the Hirsch SiB 2xO SP open. Its fantastic, absolutely a steal at 100. I personally think it does have Willet, as it has a lil of that Willet funk to it that the 4 year Rye has. I dont like the Rye, but this 2xO Hirsch SiB Daveco SP is suuuuper good. 3) The Ry3 picks are all so-so. I got em all and will not rebuy 4) I'm in Thornton and would contribute sometime to your show with samples, i'd do a blind or something. Ive got a concert channel and would enjoy doing something. Keep up the great work.

I live nearby and DaveCo it is quite something. They manage allocated whiskey with a shared Google sheet - next release is early 2025. The nearby Hwy7 store just put out allocateds - I think the PVW20 is 1300. Don't look for the 2024 GTS cuz I just bought it!

Have you tried that Hirsch SB DO? I saw one tonight in a local store near me but didn’t to try it for $99. They also had a store pick that was one mash bill 9 yr 8 months for $139. Seems pricey 🤷‍♂️

It does seem expensive. I know a while back there was confirmed rumors that there was older willet juice blended in but I’m. It sure that’s something that’s still happening. I haven’t tried hirsch juice but people tend to enjoy it.
