Just had a similar conversation myself yesterday 🤣 We just don't see Stagg in my area of north Georgia for less than $200, unfortunately. But as you say, there are a lot of alternatives and finding a bottle I love isn't all that hard.

I did that in a blind against two Stagg loving friends. They thought them both close, but one was grainier/younger than the other. They had some guesses as to what was compared and all were wrong. Revealed it was Bm FP and the light bulb went on. I call Bm FP jr Stagg jr. Friends have taken that and changed it to Stagg jr jr.

I paid $199 at a liquor store in NJ, so don’t feel so bad about it 😂😂. I’m new to bourbon and I’ve been experimenting with a few different ones, I’m definitely not up to Stag yet, I still prefer lower proof for now.

Staff is ok but ECBP is better and you can find it. But I know you deal with the hype cause if you say anything bad about BT the fanboys jump. BT really isn’t has good as it is made out to be.

Agreed, and except for Antique 107, I don't know why people buy _any_ Weller products at MSRP, let alone secondary. ...and I love wheaters.
