I, uh... huh. I don't think I was able to follow along. I generally only understand the simplest of poetry forms, and I have an easier time understanding the hows and whys while physically reading them, because I've also never understood meter and timing, so I can at least use the physical length of the words and syllables therein to get a vague grasp of it. This probably wouldn't be as much of an issue if I had a normal school life, but it is what it is.

This comment from Google might help: He immediately refers to “Grishkin.” This person is not well-known like Webster and Donne before her. It has been speculated that she was a Russian woman who was a “friendly” and sexual woman. In the poem, she uses her “eye” to emphasize what she's saying and what she wants.
