I'm white, from Knoxville TN, member of Gangster Disciples from 16 to 26 years old. I'm 33 now, and back when I joined in my area I knew of other white guys in majority black gangs, a white Vice Lord, a couple white Hoovers, and 1 other GD but I was the only one I ever saw or knew of that was also a punk rocker and metal head, so for them to even consider me when they did at the age I was, I had done a lot of crazy shit around these guys and I was very close friends with them but the issue I had and I don't know if other white guys in black gangs can relate, is that some of the members of my set never recognized me fully like the others even though I got jumped in, put in work, and never snitched or let anyone disrespect my flag. I was still friends with the ones who didn't consider me a full brother though. Anyone else with similar experiences?
