A blast from the past. The trailers we pulled were O.D. Green. They held 3500 gallons, I pulled many a load of jet fuel. Great build as always Chris.

I agree...my personal rule in modeling is “paint everything”...even if the plastic is the right color..unpainted plastic always has that unreal waxy look...love your videos...you did a great job, I also enjoy building vintage molds kits...glad I’m not the only veteran modeler who only uses rattle cans! I had this kit since the re-release in the 90s, you got me excited to pull it out and build mine...thanks for the preview! I think this kit painted in yellow with the air force decals would be a great refueling diorama with a 1/48 Air Force jet!

What would be cool as a diorama would be to do the trunk as Air Force then build a '50s era jet fighter to go next to it, like an F-80 or something. Cool build!

I love building kits that are moulded in coloured plastic. Even if painted over later, it adds more interest rather than generic grey plastic. It is also handy when you have more than one kit on the go all at the same time.

Chris, an old kit that I think used to be a Revell kit. Those molded ' Dayton' wheels and tires are great and capture what the real trucks had. These 3000 model White's were everywhere at one time. A lot of these were used in the moving industry, big trucking companies, local deliveries, with some as fire trucks. I think White also built the 3000's as twin steer model single drive tractors for some compan- ies.

I built this kit, and the parts fitted in nicely but there where some gaps in the cab of the truck but I was using mr cement s which evaporates quite fast and sometimes it doesn't stick nice to some parts but I didn't have a choice since I ran out of humbrol cement and my testors bottle is a pain in the @$$ to get outta of the bottle but overall not a bad kit, but I'm planning to buy a o scale peterbilt semi truck to have it with the trailer, with different decals from another kit since I'm not going to put the Sinclair decals as mine isn't going to be a Sinclair truck, and as for the truck that came with the kit it's just going to be an old rusty semi truck that's going to be delivering logs, pipes, crates, etc. From any company on my small layout
