Qué ternura de madre como le enseña á su bebé que se agarre al arbol al final va á ser lo qué tendra qué hacer en cuanto sea autosuficiente ,la mayor parte de su vida se la pasara suvido á los arboles ,una preciosidad de madre y hijo ,sois unos genios ,para hacer todas esas imágenes tan puras. It really is unbelievably cute. It looks very healthy and active, too. I wish you could also record a video of the gibbon call, which is so wonderful, too. And it would be really great to capture the baby's first call whenever that happens!

I love gibbons. You can recognize them a mile away with that majestical call. When those males open up and fill those air sacs, WOW talk about loud and the way they move their bottom jaw so fast to make that tril sound! What an amazing creature. I'd never heard of the white HANDED gibbon before but that creamy color is beautiful. Maybe I heard wrong but I thought they said on monkey world that their call it was one of the loudest sounds. I was concerned about the babe that itty bitty thing. My mom says it's legs and arms are spindly. 😂 Poor thing. I couldn't figure out why she wouldn't let it nurse. It just looks to little, young and skinny to wean. It's crazy theirs so many different monkeys a how they differ from the habits of apes. Chimps, orangutans and bonobos nurse til they're 5-6 YEARS old. So it surprised me that the gibbon was pulling it away. Anyway. She didn't have to be so mean and hurtful about it!😔☺ It's just a baby after all. Nature at its finest!!!

would be good to know the age of the baby at the time of the video. wondering if our new baby gibbon has grown any more fur since its newborn photo. it should be just over one month old now, but it's winter and the baby stays inside with its parents.

Not good at all! Huge red flag!! Every x the baby got on the tit to feed mom pulled him off. Also baby is sucking on his hands & feet. They start doing that wen moms not feeding them properly. Hope he's a spunky teenager now!
