I am weak, I pray that I will withstand persecution. St. Agnes please pray for me and all souls that are like me...loving God and others, praying, but weak.

I spent a decade listening to Protestant pastors and teachers for 8+ hours a day, 5-7 days a week and heard nothing that comes even close to this. I was brought into the Church at a cathedral dedicated to St. Agnes.

May God bless you. There are some saintly protestants, but I find most non-Catholic preaching to be like stale toast compared to the red meat of Catholicism.

When I venerated Saint Agnes’ relic a few years ago I smelt roses and she gave me this gift of purity until her feast day. She’s my second favorite Saint after Saint Philomena

What a story. St. Agnes pray for us. She was so young as well. The miracles that accompanied her until her actual martyrdom makes the story stand out.

Jesus, Mary, I love you save souls! Reparation prayer saves a soul & repairs 1000 blasphemies. Our Lady of Fatima said many souls go to hell because there is no one to pray for them. Impirmatur Cardinal Fossati, Turin, Italy. 1949.

Would the martyrdom of a terrible sinner with decades of mortal sin on his soul be meritorious, if he refused to deny Christ or the teaching of the Catholic Church and instead chose death?
@renae94502 жыл бұрын
Most certainly, for that sinner has shown in the most remarkable way possible that he repents and denies his former self and whatever sins he has committed and instead returns to God the Father as the prodigal son. Our Lord expressed to St Faustina that the greater the sinner the greater their right to His Divine Mercy. There is nothing the Lord loves more than the prodigal son/daughter who returns to Him. Our Lord told St Faustina that there exists in His Heart a most special place for those most pitiful sinners who return to Him and implore His mercy.

This was good locker room coaching for me. If I take my measure I come up very small with numerous critically weak areas to myself. Football cleats on the bare hand... Between cold, tundra Earth... And the spiked shoe of the opposing side.

The ad that was played before this video was porno
@fidelisetverus2 жыл бұрын
Typical of the devil to do so. It shows how spiritually good this sermon is that the devil tried his best to distract you and others. That ad was not played before I watched this video and listened to Fr.'s sermon. I guess, it was used to distract people. As long as you didn't let it distract you and lead you into sin, it made you spiritually stronger. Temptation can either make you weaker or stronger in your faith. It all depends on what you allow it to do to you - grow in vice or grow in Virtue. Pick
