I always forget how much depth as an actress Jan Hooks had. Great sketch. Phil getting strangled, pregnant Victoria Jackson, Patrick's way over the top everything. And theme music to boot. It fires on all cylinders.

2:25 I always love those little outrageous moments with Chris Farley, you see it in a lot of sketches. Whether it's a gesture, an odd laugh or a peculiar jerk of his face/body. The way he laughs and looks there is hilarious yet terrifying. He could have done some serious psychotic roles and been totally creepy and convincing. It's like he would concentrate every molecule of his energy and somehow pack it all into one brilliant moment.

When they opened the big walmart in my old neighborhood I wondered where all those triple-wide, snaggle-toothed people in dirty stretch pants and filthy tee shirts (dirt and sayings on) came from. Buying some milk and bread I stood behind one mama who grabbed the empty bottle from her dull-eyed infant and filled it full of Dr. Pepper from the little fridge up front. I went home and told my kids, "If you build it, they will come."

Those very places you stayed could have a hidden history of murdering and taking black people's land. Like Wilmington and Rosewood and Tulsa and so many other places.
