White washing old Carmel stained dining chairs - by MaRiTama Home

This is a set of four old dining chairs that were previously stained and varnished with the old Carmel color. I wanted to give them a new look without having to heavily sand them…so they would match a dining table I was working on.
I used Dixie Belle products for this project.
What I needed:
sandpaper 80, 120, 220 grit
wet cloth
tsp
rag to wipe the wash with
water
plastic cups & stirring sticks
Dixie Belle products:
Cotton paint
white wash glaze
cobalt paint
top coat flat
gator hide
