I've been begging my parents to move us out to the country so that I could have farm animals for years and this year we finally did but my mom said no farm animals. Well for a late Christmas present I was given a baby pot belly pig and then for my birthday I got 8 chicks and 2 ducklings. 6 of my chicks and my ducklings started to grow wonderfully but my crested polish (who I gifted to my mum cause the chick fell in love with her) and my Silkie didn't grow past about 4th (the Silkie) and 5th week growth and ended up dying. It was a horrible experience and was a very hard lesson but your videos about losing chicks helped me cope. I started watching you right before I got my chicks and your videos have really helped me while raising my tiny flock.

So glad you got him back. Just yesterday my male quail, Peep, escaped while I was trying to take out my female’s egg (it was cracked. She also had another one which wasn’t cracked, so all is good). Then, he squeezed through my 2x3 black fence, and my puppy chased him. I was panicking at this moment. Luckily, he squeezed through my outer fence, and I took this chance to get my mom. We put my puppy away, and we found him near my garage. In my neighbor’s house, there’s cats living there, so I steered him back into my yard and closed the fence. Then my other neighbor let her dog out and he barked at him. My mom asked politely to put him away. Then I steered Peep towards the black fence. Re-Peep (my female) was waiting for him as he tried to squeeze through the fence. I took my chance and grabbed him. He tried to get out, but I refused to let go. My mom opened the coop, and I put him in. He ran straight into the bush I made him with pine tree sticks and a few others. When my puppy was let out again, she started barking at them, but they didn’t care, and she gave up. I got to school on time, and also, while I was putting Peep back in, I grabbed the cracked egg, so all is good. Also, I hate how you were rushing to get the golden pheasant. Please, don’t do that. That could scare them, and that’s why he flew. He looked very scared and you need to earn his trust to actually get him. What I mean, is like hatch them or something, maybe talk to them in a soft voice and let them rest. I heard rushing can give them a heart attack (which I think was the cause of Tin Man’s death) or just cause death somehow, like injuries. Could you give them some time? I just don’t wanna see that again. Thanks! -One of ur biggest fans :3

Oh my goodness! I practically held my breath until you got him back safely!! That was real life drama! So glad he is safe and that some of the baby chicks made it. It always makes me sad to see them so developed but unable to hatch for whatever reason. So happy to see everyone looking well, new baby Isaiah and mum both look very healthy and happy. 😃💕
