This was the perfect "peak" lineup David Coverdale had going on, with this phase of Whitesnake. IMHO. John Skyes is tearing it up beyond the musical heavens during his epic solo At Seibu Stadium, Tokyo, Japan. That was freakin' brutal. Crazy. Almost four decades ago. Way before the internet even existed. Love how John used a Fender strat during intro (ala Jeff Beck). Plus the amazing Cozy Powell on drums. Pumping John Skyes. Especially during solo section of song @9:24 on. Imagine if this lineup had stuck together for at least the following five years. One may have seen a different shade of things ahead with Whitesnake. Personally feel the results would have been far better with John Sykes throughout the '80s. Great dynamic guitarist, vocalist, songwriter.
