The days when there is no autotune.. no effort on social media.. no annoying dancers at the background.. no celebrities trying to join the singing and outdo the artist.. no screaming from the audience.. but ONLY pure talent, pure soul and pure voice.💗

Isn't that the truth! I don't mind a dancer etc but you are correct. There isn't much talent like this anymore.

I always cry when I see Whitney. She is so young here. Her beauty, her charisma and her voice are overwhelming. Seeing this recording makes me happy and sad at the same time because I know how her Life developed later ... But that doesn't change the fact that I thank God infinitely for giving this wonderful human being to this world. I hope with all my heart that she was happy in her life. R.I. P. Whitney.

I dont think she was necessarily happy. Everyone now believes money can buy happiness, it may be able to save from extreme unhappiness, being without a place to live or food and such but it cannot make some one really love you and other things of that nature. Why do alot of famous people turn to drugs? I feel its escapism...because they are not happy. Her and Bobby Brown that was far from happy.

Today’s singers besides like Beyoncé don’t have the range/emotiveness/technique to ballads. They require fioritura/coloratura on the legato passages(Mariah), Dynamic Control (Whitney) from start to finish, and stamina (Céline) to power through bridges/climaxes.

I actually think that 1994 after she had Bobbi Kristina is the best her voice ever sounded in the 90s. She took her vocal prowess to another level on the bodyguard tour and interpreted her earlier work in ways that no other vocalist really has ever been able to eclipse in pop music. However, her best is 86-87. No one was fucking with her.

What a gift she had. She sang without inhibitions and always made an old song sound new again. There will always be a special place in my heart for Whit. What ever it was that she projected and radiated when she performed was everything that I someday wished and aspired to be. Incredible how someone so iconic who had a voice that was considered a national treasure was, like so many of us...fallible, self destructive, and insecure. It's not right, but it's okay. Love and miss a great talent gone too soon. She was an inspiration to me in so many ways. Very tragic.

After Whitney's passing i would feel so down when i would hear her music...i couldn't even watch her movies as it was too sad... i even cried and went into shock when she passed, and i have never cried for a famous celeb before in my life !!! But now i think i can let that go...i don't feel sad when i hear her music..but joy and inspiration again...i also feel the love of music again...just like she did when she was singing these songs...Whitney maybe gone from this physical world, but her spirit and music will never die....and thats what i choose to remember...Don't get me wrong, i wish she was still here...but life is life and like she said on the Bodyguard " when your time is up,it's up"...Thanks Whitney for showing me the true magic of music..you will always be loved. Peace

Thank you Cissy Houston. You gave us the greatest singer of all time and I am so blessed to have met her and seen her 8 times in concert in the mid 80's. Whitney performed twice at the NY State fair and each year I gave her roses when she was singing her opening song. These fan comments pretty much says it all. She truly is the eighth wonder of the world!!

@@kyleroper5379 "Thanks, I talked to her and Robyn Crawford in Lake Placid at the hallway of The Holiday Inn the afternoon of her concert in 1985 when she started her 2nd US tour. My friend and I waited about a half hour in the narrow hallway after Ricky Miner told us she would be coming to the restaurant. She came around the corner and gave us a big smile. She was so tall, young and beautiful and we talked to them for seven minutes or so. She was so nice to us and signed her first album for me. It was surreal and we had been very nervous until she put us at ease .We went to her concert that night (1st row) and we were still on cloud nine from meeting and talking to her. We knew that she was destined to become the greatest female singer of all time. I am 77 years old now but will never forget that day. Peace!!

Whitney has it when she sings which hypnotizes and introduces you to her world and that's enough for a singer to be known and listened to all over the world yet she has many other qualities that other singers could only dream of
