Whitney's voice is stronger and mature, but both of them have equally beautiful voices. It's not always the power, it's about the control and the sounds that come out. A singer can have a powerhouse voice and still sound a mess because it's just shouting.

both are great. Whitney was older and had more experience singing in front of big audiences. Aaliyah nerves would overshadow her and in her autopsy it said aaloyah suffered generally from a weak heart. Meaning she had irregular heart beats caused by panic attacks, anxiety, fatigue etc. So that could be why her voice was weak at times she had palpitations during stress performances and probably didnt know what was making her nervous. She always talked about her nerves. Another thing aaliyah was trained classical music. I think she did well with what she had. Every musician not suppose to sound the same if they did we would be bored and stop listening.

What does a weak heart have to do with being nerves while singing or performing? She had a weak heart because she was shock of the place crash. She went into shock. I don’t think she had weak heart before the plane crash.
