Hi Vlad, loved the Stuart carving and the Stuart character. You make the carving and storytelling so much fun. I'm currently carving a chess set for my son-in-law who asked me to do it so he can have a memento when I've gone to carving place in the sky. You inspired me with the Nativity scene done by you dad as a keepsake to remember him by. Have 4 grandchildren and want to do Max the dog and Stuart the mouse fro them so they also can have a keepsake from poppop. Thanks for sending me the links to print out the cutouts for carving. I just got some tracing paper in the mail (100 sheets, oh my lifetime supply) to use to copy the patterns to the blocks of wood. Have a scroll saw which I will use for the rough cuts. I'm here in the US in New Jersey. I'm polish and my wife czech. We were both born in this country so unfortunately only speak english. Look forward to your carving with the step by step which is a great help. Been carving about 3 years and just turned 76, hey better late than never. Retired because of the covid last March so have the time to carve with a few other hobbies. Ok Vlad stay well, stay safe and keep on carving !

Another great tutorial! It has been a while and good to see you back. Use whichever mode of video you like best both are entertaining and informational. It's a matter of preference but I prefer your normal voice. You are afterall, addressing adults not kids. Thank you for the patterns, I have made both the wizard Elric and his lady, Luna the witch. They were easy following your instructions.

I’m really missing your fantastic videos. Will you be posting any new ones anytime soon? It would be a real shame if you decided to stop posting for good. I find your work to be one of the best instructional videos I’ve found so far. Although this one is humorous, I must say that I do prefer the traditional ones. Whatever the reason you haven’t posted any videos for a good while, I hope you are safe and that you and yours are doing well.

Hi Vladimir: yes it is funny the way this story telling and walkthrough is made by you. It also fits with the mouse character. Think for that kind of projects that will me most entertaining, but the old style explaining is also very nice, so combine them. Maybe you interracting with the character? Thought never lose sight of the splendid explanation you always give. Cause that's the most important for us newbees ;)

@dersonntagsschnitzer48273 жыл бұрын
You can get Helvie knives from the States. I ordered OCC knives a while ago and I live in Germany. But at the moment there are no Helvie knives available from the manufacturer. That's the reason I bought OCC tools.
