As a full time RVer you will be constantly repairing your RV. I ended up putting shut off valves on every line so I could stop the leak without shutting down the whole RV. KZbin will be your best friend. Once you start doing your own repairs you will eventually know your camper so well you’ll be able to diagnose and fix things quickly.

Madam mayor we had a class c freedom elite Thor we had to take it back to the factory they put us up in a hotel and also got us a car they rented for us. We went to northern Indiana to Thor head quarters. Our unit ended up with black mold already. They tore it apart fixed it. It was a water connection in the back. Hope you read this you diffentately have our compassion and prayers we know where you are coming from. These companies have lost their quality they only care about their quantity. Hope you find your leak . Don't you have a warranty on your unit? So sorry that you are going through this.

I just started watching and my guess is that the defrost on your refrigerator is not exiting the camper. Campers are way to expensive for what you get. The bottom not sealed and mice get in. We even have a camper where the rubber roof never even covered the corner of the roof. So of coarse, there is a spongy floor in one corner. The slide-outs lean inward instead of outward. There is just so many things a buyer needs to learn before buying. We are building our cabin where our motorhome and camper are and both of those will be sold by the end of summer.

My greetings from Brussels, B.e. I am a plumber by profession. The device I have to make shrink connections with pressure drop as an outcome warns if a conact has not beenmade properly. In otherwords, the installer acted completely carelessly !!

Living full time in an RV, I have learned that you will be in a constant state of repairs. Having said that, KZbin is a fountain of information on how to investigate and fix many problems.. We replaced all the clamps like what you have with HEX. Saved us lots of problems. Also we put on/offs on all the sinks, shower, toilet and hot water tank water lines, hot and cold, where we could get to them fast. Good luck to you.

Is it NEW NEW? Under warranty? Go back to dealer or check RV sales that can repair it. It could be leaking around the windows then running down the wall and under the floor.

Great vid and good thing your handy. I had RVs/ and or trailers for over 50 years. Fixed most of the repairs myself. You should buy a crimper for future plumbing connections. The worm gear clamps are not dependable. Ray

New RV it should be under warranty take it back and make them fix it. No charge. Your insurance company should take care of where you can stay while it is being fixed. The floor will have to be taken up, mold removed and replaced. You may have to get a lawyer involved.

Also something to check is the fridge drain make sure the hose is coming out of the vent and not just laying inside

If you need any repairs close to Springfield, Mo. there is a great RV repair dealer. I don't remember the name but it shouldn't be hard to find. They replaced an awning, and a storm took off. They also did so electrical work for us.

I live in a 5th wheel and we have found so much wrong with it in a year. The bedroom ceiling staples are coming out causing the ceiling to droop. The trim is starting to sag.

FYI. Just watched vids by “Liz Amazing”. Because “Lippert” supplies over 80% of the RV industry with frames, the structural materials used to weld the frames are not made from thick enough material. Flex Frame Issues to watch for: poping screws in flooring, squeaking cabinets, doors not sliding correctly, etc. look at the frame from behind exterior panels under the structure and make sure the welds are not cracking or breaking, under the load.

The floor will dry out if you find the source. Pumps and pipe junction points... water heater and fridge might have a drip tray from condensation.

If that trailer us brand new, you have a water leak. You have mold, I would be calling that company. It should still be under warranty. I would demand a new one. If it is under warranty and you fix it, now the warranty is void.

It was a simple loose clamp. Manufacturer is in Alabama. That's way out of the way inconvenient for us. The floors have no wood to get damaged by water. It's compressed foam on aluminum chassis. So that's good news.

Hello. You should put mouse traps out. If you stop at campgrounds on your way to Alaska. It only takes one to roam around under your cabinets and chew wires. They climb up your power cord or any hole in the bottom of camper. The field mice can go through a hole the size of a dime. Good Luck

Hi guys It is unfortunately the way of the world now , there are very few people left who give a flying f ( don’t care about their workmanship) I should say , it’s a good job you are handy and able to do some repairs by yourselves, one criticism I have with your rv is I’ve never seen such a mess of wiring in my 61 years , if I had an employee who did this he’d be gone and the supervisor would be gone 5 minutes before the employee, what a mess , shame on any company doing this kind of work , enjoy your travels wherever they may take you Regards Davy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇹🇭

Excellent choice for your RV. My parents have had a couple of Tiffin Motorhomes. They were always impressed with their communication and customer service. You are correct about the wiring and other construction debris. You will find garbage like that in units made from every manufacture. Every time I look in one and see the wiring and hoses all thrown together and inner twined, I so want to rip out every one of those wires and hoses, rerun and route them properly, and make sure everything in there is accessible and serviceable! I know that isn't possible, but that's my OCD, electrical engineering, and IT networking background screaming out!

Our Salem Hemisphere 5th wheeler had a small crack in the 12 volt pump for fresh water. The pump would cycle a lot. Unknown to us, every time the pump came on about half a quart of water was running down behind a divider wall in the underside storage and right into the underpinning. I finally noticed a large downward bulge in that core plastic underpinning and ended up drilling a hole to drain about 30 gallons of lost water. Ended up removing the divider wall and noticed the water leak was going down a hole drilled for one of the water pipes from underneath the flooring. Amazingly, it did not run along the wooden flooring or into any electrical that was right beside that pipe. New pump, no leaks. These RV's are literally slapped together. water leaking is one of the symptoms of a possibly bigger problem. You might find Liz amazings channel interesting and its not just a problem with one companies rv products. please be careful in your journeys.

If you install a cable on the pins for the motors for the bed it would be easy to unscrew the cup holder and pull the cable to remove the pins remotely.

The manufacturer should make a owner's manual with troubleshooting/temporary fix steps, if the retracting items fail, including bed, slide out, and stairs...

Sounds like serious issues, really. You should contact the owners or senior management of the manufacturer and complain. I was in modular home construction, and if there's no complaints, then the company does not know they have problems.

Just advice watch out on tows road read your license plates. If you don’t have a regular address for mail they will add fines on top of the tow fee. New York is the worse ones. Go on EZ Pass to have your info logged in not to have worry about the fees automatic take it out for you.

I feel your pain. I used our washer-dryer combo for the first time and water leaked soaking the bedroom carpet. Totally saturated! It took us 3 days to find the shutoff valves. Meanwhile, it continued to leak. Now tge carpet is terribly discolored and needing to be replaced.

We had to stay in a hotel for three months because our house we had a new air conditioner put in and one hour air messed it up. It caused our whole roof ceiling. Everything collapsed and we had to have a mold specialist come in. I was told once that you need to look at your paperwork to see then certain things were finished in the plant. I had a Harley the the electrical work was done on Friday and is was really messed up. They told me the guys are in a hurry to get out of the plant so the work was shauddy work. All the workers could think of was partying. The best work is done on a Wednesday middle of the week.

Do you have an icemaker in your refrigerator? This is where I had a leak in the line inside the wall and it was leaking out under the floorboards behind my refrigerator and in the entry way closet which backed up to the same wall as my refrigerator. It actually leaked slowly but went as far as 10 feet out and to the outside front of my house. It had been leaking for over a year. That copper line that you showed was to my refrigerator icemaker.

I was watching a lady on utube that does camping all over USA she got to talking to a bunch of people at camping sites and had problems with campers and she started calling the manufacturers and they told her they wasn't meant to live in took them to court and won. She has a insider of the manufacturers that they know their doing things not to last shes helped 10 families now, paying 100,000 up and have to repair after couple trips for free she helps people and some have recalls so check out to see if you have one

Yeah, I used to live and a fifth wheel RV and I am used to all these crazy problems!! This is the engineers failings!! They should have rode, tested all of these coaches before putting them out in the market!

That’s how the mold started in our bathroom were the air conditioner was above our bathroom and kitchen and started a little specs and then it just took off like wildfire. We had to have a mold, medium medium, or something like that come out and they had to measure on this machine we had to leave they had to measure the content of the moldin the air
