Reeves shout about getting in players who are good now, but also with potential for the future is probably the smartest thing Newcastle can do. Damsgaard and Mæhle are both good shouts. Kessie aswell, I got him for Newcastle in my career mode.

@@quincee7676 you can't really attract better players than these without UCL. Pjanic is the same age as Thiago. Younger than when Schweinsteiger moved to United. For a CM, he still has 3-4 years to give easy. And he doesn't play, so he's gagging for play time so he wouldn't mind not having UCL.

I recently made a Newcastle career mode on FIFA and I gave them 1 billion, and this is who I bought, I tried to make it a little realistic. I kept the formation FIFA has for Newcastle. 4-1-4-1. In goal, I got Dean Henderson. For the RB position I got in young Star Lamptey. In CB I got Tarkowski and Ginter, both are nearing the end of their contracts and two good experienced defenders would be a great start. At LB I bought Jose Gaya. For CDM I got Kessie. For the two CM positions I got Donny Van de beek, and Milinkovic- Savic two good CMs with experience but also a few more years in them. For RM I kept Maximin. LM, I bought Sterling and converted him to an LM, in real life there are rumours of him leaving, so if he was open towards a project I'd get him. And striker I got Alexander Isak. + A few good subs. Botman, Tchouameni. I think I got all that for 650million and sold players for like 60+ million. I honestly think it's relatively realistic, seeing as they could definitely pay for all them no issues.

GK - Dean Henderson CB - Conor Coady CDM - Declan Rice CAM - James Maddison ST - Danny Ings Gives them a good mix of experience and young talent. All home grown and used to the Premier League and a strong spine to the team. Declan Rice might be the only one that is a bit unrealistic as all the big teams will want him and doubt he would want to take a step back and join a team that will be building up to fight for the top over the next few years rather than challenge straight away.
