Better than most are projecting imma pre jac it as a 7 - 7.8 out of 10 with a chance that it could crack 8.5 if they dont do anything too sjw or woke and just focus on telling a good story with fun and well done scenes.

For people who don't know , Sims also kept Cindy Moon( bitten by the same spider as peter and would later become silk ) in a room ( very much like the one he offered Peter ) to protect from Morlun/( totem feeding vampire )that goes after " pure" totems . He feeds off that energy. Spider man bested him the first time by injecting himself with pure radiation. Later Sims would try to betray Peter by killing him ( something about feeding him to giant spider but so.s had a change of heart and saved Peter instead

Did you even watch this video's explanation? The supposed 'Uncle Ben' here looks like in his 30's and in the vision, Peter Parker is still a newborn. It was set on a timeline earlier than the Spider-Man that we know, obviously Madame Web would appear younger here as it tells us how she learned her powers. Heck, she wasn't even blind here yet. im not agains the premise, but ...yeah. hollywood pushing out these all female movies pretty consistantly where white men are the only villains, getting kind of old and tired now. you've got this movie, the marvels, and the all female avengers, to say nothing of all the other marvel properties that are female lead featuring characters no one cares about. i dont think its necessarly a bad idea, and i dont think people have a problem with female leads, obviously people loved wonder woman and black widow, the problem is them forcing it down our throats, i wont be surprised if all of these women end up being gay and exclusively beat up men the entire movie. having said that, this could be good if it serves as a jumping off point for an entire spiderverse live action, showing dozens of different spider people and giving appropriate credit to the main ones, ie peter parker, venom, gwen stacy, mary jane, miles morales, then maybe one other, not sure who'd you consider the 5th most mainstream spider person but i feel there should be 5, its a nice number to work with. you can say we already have movies for some of these people but i mean we need live action movies that really show all the different spider people. make it its own cinematic universe separate from the rest of the MCU. i think the main MCU has pretty much reached its end. no one cares about the current marvel movies. they killed off iron man, retired captain america, made thor into an actual joke, and decided to make anyone who was considered "diverse" the new main star, which seems to exclusively be women now, usually featuring a darker skin tone where possible. and no one cares. no one cares about iron heart, no one cares about captain marvel, no one cares about kate bishop or ms marvel or valkyrie or shuri or that one black girl from black panther that was bald, no one cares about these characters. the MCU is dead. Sony building up the spiderverse would be awesome, just dont sell it to disney, and if sony can commit to not turning the spiderverse into woke propaganda, then i think it coudl be totally fine and doesnt have to fail. it could be genuinely good to have a full on universe of spider properties. mamdam web essentially would be nick fury. its sad to see her played by a young woman, but if you think about it, you want actors that can be present without dying in the next 5 years. madam web looked like she was 100 years old, so i can understand wanting younger actors so you dont have to recast every 10 years.

It made sense as a red herring from the standpoint of other irradiated spiders, but none of these other characters really carries any kind of nostalgic personal connection to comics fans.
