@@achaudhari101 true, but he had to follow the rules "The Lore." There was more behind the story that some like me didn't understand. So we can't be mad at him for that. Plus he's more of a Jedi then All of Disney Combine, he knows more than most people. "He's Our Only Hope."

Actually the lead writer of that Acolyte episode was only telling part of the story. Apparently Filoni never said he agreed with the witches, he just said he had heard their ideas and said they were good but needed work, but they just decided to not take any advice and do their own thing.

Jon favreau should be the head of Lucasfilm the man ain't a puzzy. If Jon favreau was to be in control Lightsabers would cut all the time and Star Wars would have a lot more wars like the battle of Hoth and littered space battles displaying hundreds and thousands of soldiers Fighting for a cause. In my eyes he's the only one that would bring something to us that would feel like George Lucas philosophy expanded like what the creators behind the Legends books add video games did under George Lucas

@@FerunaLutelou You're right, just holding out hope that his title is kind of meaningless in a sense that he is absolutely NOT allowed to say no to political insertion. Like, he's not even allowed to discuss it if it's brought up. He just has to go along with it and sits in silence. Or maybe he's just letting it run its course and watching everything tank around him in hopes that those people all eventually disappear and he'll be free to create again. Total copium, but one can hope! There are still glimpses of cool stuff hidden in modern Star Wars despite what all the doomers constantly say.

Steps down? We can worry that later. After KK actually gone for good and no more political correctness on Star Wars franchise. They need to pull out the plug with the Star Wars and slow down first before they barely restore the old glory. (Which is impossible for all of the good movie franchise) Especially when they made a controversial clone trooper "sister". (Jango Fett would laugh in hell.) One thing for sure, every fans are had enough with all this PC nonsense.

Filoni is a disaster. He's the reason why we got Book of Boba, Ashoka and the Acolyte. He oversaw all of the Disney TV shows minus Andor which is the only show with good writing. You guys are way off on this one. He needs to go back to animation

The only thing they can do with Star wars now is shelf it for at least 10 years or so. Why? The damage has been done the gaslighting has no gas left people are done with it. Don't be fooled by Filoni, he is a big part of the problem Ashoka, Acolyte, Kenobi and Book of Boba Fett either by contributing and making a mess or supporting and being a producer of things that become a mess. People seem to forget that he was good when he had Faverau around to work alongside him. But Faverau has left, Filoni has been making a lot of and allowing a lot of Baloni since then honestly. If you want more of Ashoka level stuff AT BEST being made then Filoni is your guy, But I personally think star wars should be and could be better than that.

Fifteen (or sixteen) words tell you what Star Wars is about and what it MUST be: 1. Star Wars is a myth. 2. It's for men and boys. 3. Luke Skywalker is a hero. Just remember those three points and all should be fine. Kennedy has thrown out all three points. Remember, a myth requires a specific structure, not just "magic." A story told with a certain structure (leaving the everyday world behind, crossing into a new world, overcoming challenges in the new world, growing oneself and becoming a better person in response to these challenges, defeating the great danger which threatens everyone, and possibly making it back to the everyday world) is a myth, whether or not magic or "the force" or the supernatural are involved.

Filoni is strong in animation not cinematic. Favreau is not like Feige, he’s creative, so being a studio head might resonate as a turn off for him. Lucasfilm needs to be gutted and restored to what it once was asap. All of its quality content has been obliterated under the ultimate coffee fetcher’s regime!

Filoni is a terrible choice. He's the Mark Antony to Favreau's Julius Caesar. By that I mean Filoni is good at executing orders, but he's terrible at giving them or figuring out what to do, and he's proven unable to resist the call of wokeness. He'll make Star Wars however his superiors tell him to, but Favreau will push back creatively and he knows what the fans want and isn't afraid to give it to us. Just look at Luke's mythical return in Mando season 2. In one scene, we got the Jedi Grandmaster we always wanted (albeit for under 10 minutes), we got to see that he was more powerful than all of the strong PC-approved women characters in that show combined, and we even got some good follow-up in BoBF, even as it was somewhat tainted by Grogu leaving him WAY too soon.

I don't know about Filoni. I thought Ahsoka was very average, but he did solely write Clone Wars season 7, which are the highest rated episodes in that series. I don't feel KK's reach had anything to do with Ahsoka's quality. It was Filoni's baby from beginning to end. Ezra Bridger, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, and Ahsoka did not feel like the characters from the animated shows. But Thrawn was the worst written character in the series. Clearly whoever wrote Thrawn was not clever. Because as has been said many times only a clever writer can write a clever character. So I'm wondering what happened to Filoni suddenly? The show made me question if he was the creative genius many believe, or was it others doing the heavy lifting. I feel that Favreau, Tony Gilroy, and Timothy Zahn should be all involved in developing the creative vision of Star Wars moving forward, and that they should bring back writers of some of Clone Wars' and Rebels' best storylines.

Favreau, but only IF he is willing and able to erase the "sequels" and do better with a new Episode VII, VIII, and IX. If he can erase most of the streaming shows and "Solo", so much the better. Most of the cartoons (not Resistance), Rogue One, Andor, and Mando 1 & 2 can stay. Not sure about Skeleton Crew.

Ahsoka was a mess in terms of lore, and that's only one example. You might like him, and that's fine, but to say he has been faithful to the lore is just not factual.
