wow, i'm so glad to hear you don't do a lot of outdoor climbing and it freaks you out. i just started bouldering (and did one ropes) but when i see (worst is free soloing, i don't care how high it isn't) climbing like this i just think UNSAAAAAAAAFE. could be my fear of falling/heights. i'm good as long as i can't conceivably fall from a high place. rock climbing even in a gym is a challenge but that's partly why i'm doing it.
