New mic sounds real good! It also still sounds similar to the old setup, which I like. I prefer the way it sounds being a bit further away from it 👌 I would consider getting a different light though, the ring light reflection is too visible on your glasses.

I've been binging a few of your vids and wanted to see if you had a video on how to dyno or tips for dynoing because that is one of my weakest areas in climbing, if not the weakest, and I want to get better at it. I know for me at least, a lot of it has to do with getting past the nerves.

I think we might need to consider taking the word "intentionally" out of the definition of the DM scale. This is because I think the video at 16:04 is a DM4 because both hands came off the wall AND both feet came off the wall before he finished the movement.

yesterday, as a 5'6 17 year old, i hit a 7 foot dm4 dyno and it was so sick! training my vertical every day...

At 4:34 in the video 'Alex Honnold Breaks Down Iconic Rock Climbing Scenes | GQ Sports', he states, "A dyno is when you jump and a double dyno is when you jump with both hands." Take this as you will. It is from a free soloing crack climber so 🤷‍♀

The portable v4 is a mobility climb and you can dyno or static it. But the mobility is still tested in your body as it aint easy to pick your butt up from grabbing a small boulder. Also if you dead lift the boulder with both hands its a v6

Not climbing, but does a parkour arm jump over a roof gap technically count as a DM4 dyno? It starts on just feet (standing or running), but all four limbs are in the air during the jump, and landing happens with both hands on top of a wall and feet smearing the wall. To me it looks a lot like a dyno, especially when you have a climber like Pete Whittaker do it!
