As a child, Robbie Rotten was my favorite character of Lazy Town. He was goofy and funny, I liked him even though he was considered a villain. Stefan Karl breathed life into this character, and it stands as a fond childhood memory to me. Now I know for certain that he has brought more fond memories to friends and family around him, even in his final years. Rest In Peace Stefan Karl. I hope for the best for his friends and family.

I know most of us know him for his role as Robbie Rotten, and I must say that he played the role perfectly. So much love went into his character and you could tell that he enjoyed his job. But of course he's much more than a TV Star, he was a father of four kids and had a lovely wife... And I'm sure he was so much more... I never knew the man personally, so sadly I cannot give him the justice that he deserves. I never knew you Mr. Stefan Karl, but I want to thank you for being an amazing character on Lazytown and bringing so many smiles on children's faces. I also thank you for just being you... Comfort in death comes with knowing you have accomplished what you set out to do in your life. For Stefan Karl, I believe this was entertainment. He didn't want to be a meme, he wanted to make people happy. Which is one of the purest life goals I think someone can have. He did this better than he could imagine, and he knew that. As someone who watched Lazy Town as a kid and enjoyed Robbie Rotten as a character, Stefan's battle really touched me. He was such a wonderful man with his love and joy towards everyone. He had me smiling as a child and one last time as an adult. R.I.P. Stefan Karl, always and forever number 1. I also have to utmost respect for this speaker for her strength and getting that tattoo on her middle finger is such beautiful bitter sweet memory of this story.

Many remember you for the memes, but I remember for my childhood favorite show. You were the funny, goofy villain always getting your evil plans foiled by Sporticus. Sometimes you brought out annoyance, that feeling of "no Sporticus don't let him escape," would always get me. Other times your antics were too wholesome for a character that we, the audience, was meant to dislike. You will always be missed Karl, I hope you'll give the Lord a high five for me.
