Who is Accord? Review Hidden Reports (Nier Automata Anime)

In Sinoalice, it's revealed that Accord is a member of Group A, who is fighting another group called Group B. The two groups fight for dominion over stories/books in a place called "the Library". The Library exists in a place/dimension called "the Old World", and it contains entire timelines of the Nier and Drakengard games as books. Group B calls themselves "Watchers" and use Flowers to create singularities inside stories that can destabilize stories into multiple endings. Group A call themselves "Recorders" and use Dragons to hunt Flowers and cull bad endings in the stories before they spawn sequels and fill the Library with only doom and gloom stories.

In nier replicant remake there was also a report about a "accord corporation", as follows: July 24, 2026 National Weapons Laboratory 07/24/2026 We have verified a level of compatibility between the donor bodies and the weapons brought in by the Accord Corporation. Accord fixing A2 might've been part of her back up plan, since Accord did learn the hard way that she can't always stand idly by and let things happen considering what happened in D3 ending C and in the case of this branch everyone died while 042 and 153 sacrificed themselves to save 2B and 9S.

I love Accord and Im glad I managed to see most of the endings where she is present or does her goofy lil thing in Drankegard 3. The massive Accords all doing their Accord bizness. I like it when a character is just present in different ways in a long running series like Cid from FF.

Super good video, it packages all the information very well. I feel that all this stuff about Group B is not talked about enough. I have no means to theorize anything but I suppose it doesn't hurt to point out possible suspects based on who we know can interact with other branches: -Pods related with the Cage -The Admin twins -The Watchers/Flower themselves -Turncoat Accord models I guess A good plot that I could think is that Group B is related to the admin boy, I think this because after he got separated from the admin girl his last words in The Lost World appendix were something along the lines 'I will see her again, even if it is a curse' and to me it sounds so much like the birth of a super villain Maybe he's messing with the timelines in order to find a way to reunite with her, but I'm reaching too much probably tldr Nice vid, people should talk more about this topic

hmmm, i dont think accord Repaired A2 i belive its more likely that the pods repaired her, just in a diffrent location to avoid conflict upon them waking up. the reason accord was by A2's side however might be due to the fact that A2 could be a android based on Kaine while Kaine Being either a reincarnation or simply this worlds version of Zero thus confirming her belive that one day in some place they might meet again

Accord already said in her reports that she was looking at A2 as a singularity. I do not think it is because she was based off of kaine. I know there is speculation because A2 memories are from a girl who lived on a farm with her grandmother. It's not confirmed it's kaine. But it is a fun fan theory that I jump on board. But you're right there is a chance she may not have repaid them. But I think a lot of her influenced was involved on getting A2 fixed. There were reports on the pods and I think she is involved in that pod network. But these are theories nothing confirmed.

The anime showed that as basically impossible. They had to fight so hard to save 9S and 2B that 9S Pod could barely bring his arm back to fix him before dying. A2 doesn’t really have a chance of getting fixed when the two had to use whatever willpower they had to fix just those two.
