Many male Chinese celebrities don't have eyefolds And they look great ! Their eyes are distinctive and their eyes look more attractive to me.... example Deng LUN, Wang Rui chang

So like, is men wearing makeup a common thing in China? Like, it wouldn't be weird if I wore makeup there?

In terms of what I see on the street in Shanghai it's definitely not super common. But for male celebrities and in social media, wearing some foundation (or more) isn't too unusual. In TV shows, particularly for attractive young men, the make up tends to be much more obvious than it would be in a Hollywood production.
