Correction: Flippy is the President of the Toon Council. Mickey Mouse is the official Mayor of Toontown! Other than that, nice work collecting some cool bits and pieces of his history! I love it

4:05 At first I didn't understand what any of that meant.. but then the flashbacks came. In the Phase Files, I noticed the torsos are named things like "tt_a_chr_dgm_skirt_torso_1000" and I also noticed that some of the Dog heads are named similarly, such as in the example of "tt_a_chr_dgs_shorts_head_1000." That explains everything. The "dg" must stand for "dog," and all of them are named with "dg" because they're dog bodies.. wow. I never knew that. I thought that they just intended this entire time for the dog bodies to be the ONLY bodies, especially since the dog bodies work so well with the other Toon heads AND it cuts down on the memory space, so I wouldn't have suspected a thing. I thought they were just *generic* bodies. At first I had expected this to be a video that would just restate facts I already knew.. but it was actually very educational BEYOND simply reinforcing facts. I also didn't realize that the dog in the overalls was supposed to be Flippy for the longest time.. I even saw pictures of the dog where the filename blatantly said "Flippy" but figured it was just a typo or something... wow. But you know, this actually gives me more questions than I've ever had before. If all of the Toons right now have Dog bodies.. then what would the other bodies have looked like? Would Bears have been buff or shaped like Baloo the bear? Would Ducks have been shaped like Donald but tailless? I really do wonder. And now I wonder, was it really intended for Toons to have the option to have tails and be tailless at the same time? I remember seeing box-art where the Toons had tails and the Ducks had webbed feet... and I thought that was just an artistic choice by the artist who drew that box-art. But with that whole thing about the Dog bodies, maybe it was also possible that you could mix and match feet and tails...

Yeah, Flippy's definitely the President of Toon Council, but at the same time he's the president/mayor of Toontown. Maybe Mickey is still the mayor, but Flippy is the president? Or vice-versa? Or maybe it's just that Mickey resigned early on and Flippy took his place as mayor?

Yup, Mickey has his place as Mayor still, while Flippy just runs the Toon Council. I presume Mickey's been too busy being a star of his cartoons to manage Toontown as closely as the Toon Council, especially with the Cogs invading and all!

I've had this theory for years... Maybe Flippy is a cog in disguise (Or working w/ the cogs) and helps them with their plans. In exchange for that, Flippy asks the cogs to raid the Toontown Election so Flippy can win, and not Slappy. It would also be good for the cogs since Flippy is on their side, so having the Lead President of Toon-Council of Toontown be on the cog's side is very evil. Yes yes, I'm aware this is a kids game but, think of the possibilities. The cogs had NO reason to kidnap Slippy, but what will they use him for? Experimentation? Looting? Making him tell the Toontown secrets? Doesn't really add up. There are FAR more toons that can be more useful than Slappy. He's just running for toon president of Toon-Council, nothing special. Anyway, I really think this is a good theory. Just to point that out. Thanks for reading this long paragraph.

I know Wikipedia isn't the best source for facts, but here is a recent addition to the article that proves intriguing: "Contrary to popular belief, Disney did not abandon Toontown Online or close it in spite of their userbase. The company has hosted internal meetings discussing the future of the game, taking the popularity of mobile games and the payment options available on that platform into consideration for planning the next step for Toontown Online and the Toontown license. A solution has yet to be agreed upon, but as of 2017, these internal meetings still continue."
