Who is Hardeep Singh Nijjar? Canadian Sikh leader allegedly killed by India agents

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau informed Parliament that there were “credible allegations” of a link between “agents of India” and the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Sikh leader whom Trudeau described as a Canadian citizen.
Nijjar, who moved to Canada in February 1997 to be a plumber, was a key figure in the movement for an independent Khalistan - a separate homeland for Sikhs in the Indian subcontinent.
But for the Indian government, he was wanted for allegedly being a “mastermind/active member” of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), which the Indian government designates as a terrorist group.

Ok i did some research. Even though he wasn’t a Canadian and was likely an illegal immigrant, he was just a regular guy who the Indian government killed. He wasn’t a poltical leader of any movement and had no influence in Canada even if theres a *VERY* high chance he should have been deported or not let into Canada. The idea they killed someone in Canada is an absolute Outrage (especially considering our governments are officially alied and Canada would very likely come to Indias aid in a War against China) and i think India should suffer serious consequences for this.
