Jennifer, I was delighted to hear you mention that Patrick had bought the premarital question book for Lou both to discuss together. I have given the book-The Hard Questions: 100 Essential Questions to Ask Before You Say "I Do" by Susan Piver-to several newly engaged couples over the past 2 decades. I always write inside the cover that it will save them from many quarrels and heartaches in their future together. This book should be required reading before one can apply for a marriage license! Ironing out the inevitable marital wrinkles before-hand is better and cheaper than premarital and/or subsequent marital counseling. I know that if my husband and I could have had the benefit of that type of book 41 years ago, we would have been spared a lot of pain and grief over the years. I have listened to, learned from and admired Patrick ever since I discovered him on KZbin a few years ago (in his 'chalkboard' days). Now I know the force next to him that keeps him going....YOU. I'm so glad he shared shared you with us!

This is what you call a regal woman. Fortunately, I’m blessed to be married another very regal woman who knows who she is and excels in life as a wife and mother. My 3 kids have watched their parents love and respect each other their entire lives and they know what the standard is in a future spouse and as a future spouse. My son knows how to treat his new beautiful wife and my twin girls have high expectations for their future husbands, and it’s a beautiful thing. You are so blessed and so is he. I had a man very much like him. I got scared to death, thinking he would change if I married him. Now I regret it. I'm 68 and alone now. My family is very busy and It's very hard to see their kids that love seeing me You don't meet men like them too often in life.
