I found out about Kenshi Yonezu last year from his songs Lemon and Uchiage Hanabi. I had no idea for months that he had sung Peace Sign and Donut Hole (few of my all time favourites). Kenshi Yonezu's music really became a push for me when I was really just overwhelmed with life and I would forever be thankful to him for that. After reading a bit more about him, I had a new found respect for him. He was from a poor family and he had trouble fitting in with other kids. He always saw himself as a monster among others which diorama shows very well. He also fell in depression for 2 years when he felt like he couldn't go on living with just Nico Nico Douga (in between that period, he put out diorama) and he was diagnosed with autism. A man who has been through so much and is still going on really is an inspiration. I've ranted too much, haven't I?

Omg. I just discovered Kenshi Yonezu’s music (outside of anime) specifically his new album Stray Sheep and just fell in love with the album instantly. I have been just jamming out to it all night. And now I’m doing some research about him and discover that he is in one of my top favorite anime’s that has amazing songs and has my favorite composer Yuki Hayashi! My hero academia truly just gets better and better. It’s composed music is incredible and so are the songs that they chose. All the music fits and blends together perfectly! I have to say that I started watching your videos because of all the Fruits Basket content because I'm a huge fan, but when I finally checked out your full list of videos and saw March Comes in Like a Lion near the bottom of the list and found out that you like it as well I got so excited I immediately subscribed. Really good video! I think it’s really cool to see people making videos for some of these artists like Kenshi Yonezu and Yorushika. To give a few corrections though, Orion came before Peace Sign rather than after it. Also I’m sorry if I sound like a douche saying this but his last name is pronounced Yonezu (with an o sound and an e sound like in episode) rather than Yawnzu. Either way, great job mostly everything else, especially with breaking down the lyrics. Not sure if it’s for better or worse but Kenshi Yonezu is probably too big for most TV anime now (which is a shame cuz he’s a huge fan of manga) but hopefully we could see him in more anime movies in the future, like Children of the Sea

i discovered kenshi yonezu through hachi and i’m kinda glad also, the song you said ‘musunde hiraite rasetsu to mukuro’ is actually pronounced like mu = moo su = soo n = the word ‘fun’ but without the ‘fu’. so the n sound de = has a short e sound hi = sounds like he ra = i can’t explain this sound. try to say da & la at the same time? i = long e te = short e ra = like the other ra se = short e tsu = short t. the su is more clear to = long o mu = moo ku = coo ro = like ra, but long o hope that makes sense

*slightly cringed how he pronounced Kenshi's name * do check out clips when he hosted the radio program, Monthly Artist File -The voice, he spoke quite a lot (its rare cuz he's usually so quiet). If u listen carefully you'll notice when he speaks there's like small pauses where he goes "ehhhhhhhh" while trying to think and it's adorable
