Any idea how to import something like this into Unreal? I love the method you have described but when I try and import it as fbx I end up with several different static meshes. Also thank you.
@trungduyngАй бұрын
@@navi2710 of course this will only work within Blender. In UE there is already a workflow for billboard foliage: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3PJi4acjZuSfdEsi=C1UjuhJGEZfsaS80 kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3K2fnmYlpx6m6ssi=1yYwkvyQu-525c8L

Nice tut!! For C4D users, no need for geometry nodes to make the plane face the camera, just convert it to polygon object, rotate the Z axis to face up, drop a target tag on it and drop the camera in the target object, now you can animate position and rotation of the camera and that plane will always face it. Thank ya!!

An indepth tutorial on large grass landscapes and/or general NPR material tips and tricks would be amazing from you. Years ago I was struggling to find resources on Vertex Normal Transfering for trees in Blender. Your explanation was clar and very helpful. Keep up the good work ❤
@trungduyng2 ай бұрын
For me I think the transferring normal was not that hard to find guide. The hardest part is to find quadmesh to billboard pipeline guide in blender, which is basically none.
