Who is middle class? | definition of middle class based on income

Are you a middle class person? Most probably you are. But are you really middle class?
To answer this, you should know the definition of middle class. Middle class is a term that is widely used in our everyday conversations and in news and digital media. But we still don’t know actually belongs to the middle class. In this video I am trying to define the middle class based on their income.
There have been many studies and researches done in this field and those studies have defined the middle class in their own way. Those researches differ because of the people who participated in their research. In this video I am referring to the research findings of Devesh Kapur and Milan Vaishnav who stated that about 50% of Indians believe that they belong to the middle class. But Pew research findings say that only 2% of Indians belong to the middle class. That is a huge difference. I will explain the reason for this huge difference in this video.
I’m going to propose a new definition for the middle class based on a matrix that has been officially approved by the Indian government. In this video, I'll also outline the income ranges for different socioeconomic groups: poor, lower middle class, middle class, upper middle class, and high-income class.
