YES! Unlike the other four, Echo suffered YEARS of TORTURE. And even after all that, suffering PTSD, losing just everyone he loved, he STILL holds true to his morals and convictions. Also saying he's at a disadvantage due to having one arm is pretty ableist to me. Like, in the first episode we saw hims STAB THROUGH DROIDS with his scomp link. Now, physically he still doesn't seem to quite be at the physical peak he was as an ARC Trooper prior to Citadel and Techno Union, but that can be built up again. Also, of the whole team, HE'S the one with the most EXPERIENCE. The other members are a little younger than Echo. I think he was already in the midst of his ARC training when the other four were first sent out on missions. (this is speculative, but since they were practically named in 99's honor, meaning he had to have already passed away when they were first deployed) Also, anyone who survives a FUCKING EXPLOSION is not only one lucky S.O.B. but tough as hell! Stop underestimating Echo just because he's a "reg". Echo WORKED HARD to gain the knowledge, skills, and experience he has. (remember when he and the other Dominos couldn't pass their final training test? Look at him NOW!) The other four are really the "naturally gifted kids" who didn't have to work as hard.

Echo is totally underestimated here. Being an arc, he is developed to work on his own, independent of the other Bad Batch members. None of the Bad Batch members really works on his own, they need each other. If Echo had not only his computer arm, but one which he could use normally (I think his Hot Toys figure shows this feature?), he would be superior to anyone else in the team. And if Omega really develops similarly to Boba, she will also be superior to anyone else in the team. Just my personal opinion, of course.

Echo has the most willpower overall, he survived being blown up as medical units wouldn’t arrive for a while since they were in combat. In my opinion Echo is tied with wrecker because of his wit, strength and dexterity being pretty even aside from willpower.

When considering who was the best member of the Bad Batch, I'm surprise it's even a debate given how capable Crosshair is. There's a reason why he was selected as the villain among the team, not just due to personality but the fact that he was just far more capable then the other members. His abilities as a Sniper only places him below a TF2 Sniper aimbot in terms of accuracy and precision while being able to deal with situations on his own even before he turned Imperial. He was always focus on the mission and knew how to prioritized targets to the point of absolutely trivializing most fights at best and still dominating at worst (like a master sniper player in TF2, you can make a lot of TF2 comparisons to the Bad Batch lol). And if that wasn't enough indication, the guy has only been defeated by the combine effort of his former team or just unexpected consequences of his own actions (we may see a defeat caused by Imperial incompetence later but I doubt it given how dedicated he is). In terms of threat levels in Star Wars, if Vader was a boss battle, then Crosshair is like a mini-boss. The only way the other team members win in a free for all is if they all ganged up on Crosshair, and he's likely to take down most of the others before he goes down himself.

Something you should consider is that for most of the show thus far, Wrecker was suffering from side effects of the inhibitor chip, mostly likely a swollen brain and difficulty focusing. If he actually works as their demolitions man, he should be *very* coordinated, lest a bomb go off in his face.

Echo should have the willpower one, wouldn't change much about his ranking but the dude survived just about the worst thing ever, and still had the BALLS to leave his clone reg friend rex to go with total strangers, while they were already really bonded together and mostly against regs, proved to be strong enough to adapt, and still make his voice heard when it mattered (speech about the BB saving him as such they should save Gregor and other one liners he gave out)

Echo easily has the most potential. If he were to get prosthetics that could be attached to his scomp link, he'd have virtually infinite avenues of approach in combat. He could have a mini turret, or a jack hammer, or a plasma cutter, or a hydraulic fist, etc. The possibilities are literally endless. I imagine his cybernetic legs also likely pack quite a kick. All of that coupled with his Arc Trooper training would make him a certified menace on the battlefield.

And suddenly the issues the Bad Batch have been having in many combat situations in the Bad Batch make so much sense if Crosshair is their best fighter. However, when it comes to willpower, I don't think we can use the Inhibitor Chip as a good measure stick, since as Rex showed us, it doesn't matter how hard you fight or how much willpower you have, against a fully functional Inhibitor Chip no one can resist it, at least not for very long. As Rex told the Bad Batch himself, those chips are very strong, and as long as a Clone has theirs they are a danger to themselves and everyone around them, even if it only partially functions like Wreckers.

@@clankers8929 Yeah, people seem to forget that, and based on the scene in episode 3 he was still undergoing treatments to keep the chip working. So at the earliest, he could have removed it until after he got his face burned on Bracca. It was most likely gone by the time of the Ryloth episodes, given instead of being cold-hearted and executing Howzer and his men like he did to the Ondoron civilians and attempted to do to the Bad Batch he ordered their arrest instead, implying something had changed in him since the last time we saw him. He may still be stupidly siding with the Empire but with the chip gone, there are still traces left of that good man that the fans and the Bad Batch themselves once knew and still hope will make the right choice in the end. Like Omega and Wrecker told him at the end of season 1, he's still their brother and they will take him back no matter what.

I think Hunter's underrated right now and will prove himself in the next season. In the first episode we see Crosshair spot Caleb before Hunter but Hunter sensed him and spotted him almost immediately after Crosshair. Hunter's ability to sense his environment makes him the best 1v1er in the Bad Batch. That or Crosshair. And I'm saying this IF Hunter's abilities are highlighted in this way in the next season. Tech and Echo are great support members with Tech being pretty much indispensable because of his intelligence (info gathering) and Echo is well rounded. He is a competent strategist, fighter, and his modifications make him perform in some roles that tech does. Wrecker would destroy anyone if the fight was head on or in close quarters. This was shown in the chip removal episode.

I think your analysis is accurate if combat situations are most important- but accomplishing missions is more than combat. I would rate Tech as #1 because of the number of crucial skills he has (he scrambled their shuttle’s signature, for example, to keep them out of a fight they couldn’t win; that’s an MVP moment).

Firstly, I think that it needs to be stated in terms of Crosshair's intelligence is that how much is it him being smart and how much he knows the bad batch? Secondly, Why wasn't there a section for judging blaster skill if you invoked it in the finale? This is my own list: 1 & 2. Hunter or Crosshair. If there's any sort of cover that will work for a sniper, crosshair gets it, but if there's a decent amount of openness and no real sniper positions, then Hunter (he's an all-arrounder and could also use his enhancements to track crosshair). Hunter's senses also play a much larger role for me in this one, as I'd argue they'd be able to detect both Tech and Hunter (and everyone for that matter). 3 & 4. Wrecker or Tech. If it's in a rather open area, Wrecker gets it due to strength, the weapon he carries... But if the area allows tech to use his intelligence, then Tech gets it (leading him into traps, tiring him out...). 5. Echo. He's just a reg, his arm...

I think putting crosshair last for will might be illfounded because it isn't known if wrecker and crosshair had the same kind of inhibitor chip. It's very likely wreckers damaged intelligence would make it harder to chip (and making him less valuable), while crosshair was the perfect soldier with enhanced reflexes and smart

Remember Wrecker had a massive headache (which turned out to be his chip) and he'd crumble after the slightest bump. When he fought Fennec, she smashed his head into a lead pipe so it makes sense he was out instantly. That bing said, if he didn't have that childish mentality and overconfidence he could rank 1st or at least stalemate Crosshair, as he pretty much oneshotted everyone when executing order 66 and was only defeated via a stun blast from the back. He also managed to throw Rex's gun as soon as he drew it which I find very impressive considering how experienced Rex is.

Echos cybernetics don't seem to hinder him much at all, and he's a pretty good shot with his one hand and somehow able to climb. I believe this is a kind of Vader like situation here, and he even was a ducking og beforehand, I mean he was chosen for the rescue mission in the citadel, which was one of the hardest and most important rescue missions of the clone wars. If it wasn't for the commando droid, Echo would have ended the mission successfully in a pretty badass way. And then, after years of experiments and mind rape by the techno union, he's still mentally stable and in my opinion even more badass

I’d put hunter 1st and crosshair second especially considering how easily Rex beat up crosshair when they were first introduced. 3rd would be wrecker cuz of his brute strength. 4th is hard to say between echo and Teck. Teck could probably just hack echo. But if it was a fight with guns or even a fist fight I’d say echo. Yes echo has one arm but his physical strength is still better then tecks so it would be hard to say consisting the one arm but echo has had much more combat training then Teck and was in the 501st so I’d put it as a close tie with echo having a slight advantage.

I still think Echo is actually the most powerful. Sure he lacks the physical enhancements the other clones have, but he learned to ability to compromise his weaknesses in battle. The other members are Commandos, bred for being the best, Echo was a regular CT, bred to be a regular Trooper, but his fighting and Leadership skills made him into an ARC. There is a reason why he was chosen to go on that citadel mission, while not even Ahsoka was chosen for that mission. I hope we will see more of that ARC Trooper action.

Wrecker, Crosshair or Hunter, Tech and Echo are tough but they aren’t specified for combat roles while Hunter Wrecker and Crosshair have their abilities based around combat. Honestly in my opinion it’s between Wrecker and Crosshair, Hunter is tough but as seen when he fights Order 66 Wrecker he quickly gets taken down and Crosshair is their eyes in the skies and we have seen that they aren’t as effective of a team without him.

I'm pretty sure Hunter used his abilities when the bad batch fought crosshair on Kamino. 3:11 Edit: I would also give Hunter first place on this list, his abilities allow him to sense where an enemy is and it also allows him to dodge shots or killing blows that would kill most other fighters. Take the fight with Crosshair as an example again, their vision was blocked by the smoke but Hunter sensed what was about to happen and ducked, if he didn't that Crosshair's shot would have killed him.

I think a lot of Hunters abilities have been ignored because they’re focusing on character development. I’d say there’s a lot of what he can do that just hasn’t been shown. Think this could've gone into more detail about their preferred fighting styles, and the weaknesses that come with it. Wrecker is physically the strongest, BUT if you can outmaneuver him, OR keep your distance he can be beat easily. Crosshair to me is the opposite. Distance is thing you'd want to AVOID with this guy, Get up close, if you can that's the hard part, and that firepuncher becomes too big and unwieldy. And even if he takes out a pistol, and you disarm him from that...well... Like if it was a hand to hand combat I'm pretty sure Hunter and Echo could kick his ass. Also the only reason he was able to outsmart his brothers, is because he KNOWS THE STRATEGIES THEY USE. It wasn't a matter of his own strategic mind, but EXPERIENCE. I think in terms of fighting style, Echo and Hunter are the most balanced. Favoring neither long, mid, or short range. They work well with any, although with his knife skills Hunter's probably the best at close range. And Echo, being a little older than the others, an ARC trooper (that he worked hard for!) has more experience. wrecker = tank tech and crosshair = support & defense echo and hunter = offense
