Shes not... *Awful*, lots of people think she's evil because of the first trial but imo she did that out of desperation, and clearly wasn't thinking straight. Her biggest flaw to me is that aside from that, she's just SUPER plain, especially compared to other characters, kind of just another character for the MC to crush on. I think Zero Escape did the concept of a twist crush character better, but that's just me. At the end of the day, I can see her appeal, but she's pretty mid and could probably have more to her character than what we have.

@@Manel-dq2kb she had a bit of an attitude and was meaner towards the guys but people tend to forget it since compared to a uuh certain someone she's extremely tame it was a bit annoying for her to go "you can't be scared, you're a dude, you have to man up and take care of the girls" to soda when he was terrified of dying but then not saying anything when Hyoko kept insulting dead Twogami also the fact part of the reason she was killed is that Fuyuhiko wanted to talk things through regarding the fact a friend of hers murdered his sisters and Mahiru knew but didn't speak up and she was like "doesn't matter what I did or what happened to your sister you're in the wrong for taking revenge on my friend" which YES true but also sheesh I totally get she has a deadbeat dad but it didn't really justified her for treating the guys that way of course teruteru deserved it all but ironically enough i don't think she ever said anything to him

Makoto and Hajime absolutely had personalities. Hajime especially, he had a whole thing going on too where he idolised the Ultimates and had lots of sass towards a certain hope boy c: also its not that Leon went all in on murder (after all, Sayaka was the one who initiatd the murder scheme). He did however take advantage of the murder he did to try and escape and thus was willing to doom everyone else to save himself.

dan+arin getting mixed up between chiaki and chihiro is actually pretty interesting, since chiaki's name is a combo of chihiro's first and last name (CHIhiro fujisAKI), foreshadowing the fact that they technically created chiaki (their birthdays are also the same)

@@katpirarate962 the way I understand it is that Chiaki (the AI) was based on Alter Ego, who was presumably extracted from the Hopes Peak network after DR1, since she calls chihiro and alter ego her 'dad' and 'big brother' respectively. As for Chiaki being a real person, I think it's just a case of retcon, since she's never mentioned as a real person in dr2, and only show up in dr3 despair arc

I think part of the reason Danganronpa repeats itself so often is because you can replay chapters from the beginning, from the beginning of the investigation or from the beginning of the trial. If you decide to play through a trial on its own, you'll need a recap of the events that took place in the investigation.

I have a feeling they will absolutely hate him. I enjoyed him since he had cringey kid vibes like gundham which I enjoy a lot. But you have to identify that he gaslights you a lot in the game (especially the start) for leadership power struggle reasons since that's just part of his ultimate. edit: tho luckily they tell us his ultimate right off the bat really helps identify "Yes, this character is going to be a problem" but at the same if you know dangonronpa you know that it's a red herring.
