You can tell that you two are very close brothers and love each other very much. I just lost my elderly Dad last Fall at age 81. We were very close and best friends too. I miss all the crap and smack talking we used to give each other while shooting, fishing, going to gun and knife shows etc etc. I think once the other half is gone when all of that ends you miss them the most. My Mom and Sister were/are devastated from the loss. I can't seem to put in words how I feel about it. Miss you Pop!! ❤

Those heart rates are really high! Well done. Typically max HR is 220-age, so a 190+ is very impressive for anyone who is over 30.

HR ranges don't really mean anything. Typically smaller people have higher max HR than larger people. It's pretty normal for someone like 5'8" and 140 to be able to go over 200 and that max HR will carry into their 50s if they regularly do cardio. Someone 6 feet will have a lower max HR. Max HR also decreases with gained fitness from "baseline" max HR.
