What about 1 Corinthians 12:11. I've see where God worked through someone as He saw fit in the gift He wanted to express at that time. I've seen it. I have had God speak to me. He told me to give 500.00 to a pastor who lived on faith. I assure you it wasn't my idea!!! I was 19 years old. I obeyed. The pastor told me his wife just talked to him and they didn't have the money to cover their next bills. I heard God's voice. Period. The fruit was there. I don't care if someone makes fun of me or calls me a liar. I know what I know ans to make matters more real, it was in a Baptist church and I didn't even know what the gifts were.

I hear your sincerity for how you were used of God to bless this pastor and his family. If you have not listened to the other talk Costi and Jonny did Cessationism, Apostolic gifts I encourage you to. Costi does say that there are times when God can and has worked as in your experience, however it is not the "normal" way. Hope it will be helpful.

Check it out. The Holy Spirit is always in the feminine not masculine, as far as Genesis to Malachi. In the NT the English translators rendered the Holy Spirit as He. Isn't this biased? Doesn't Costi know this seeing he has written a book about the Holy Spirit? Interesting.

Not true. At all. And I’m not a cessationalist. They do not deny the Holy Spirit. They deny the gifts of the Spirit (that they have ceased) but teach that the fruits of the Spirit are essential.
