@Black Flag Gotta go with my man Michael on this one. The PA is a very nice optic. But that S&B, Nightforce, Valdada, and certainly the high-end Kahles scopes are all top-shelf, they are all as premium as it gets. The PA is one step down from those... which is still about 5 steps above Monstrum lol.

So far I’ve found the best glass with the best reticle best feature set came with the new primary arms PLx compact 1-8 it’s an absolute beast of a lpvo. Amazingly clean and clear glass and the griffin reticle is very easy to use for longer distance shots. But the 1x is fast. I also own the razor 1-6x as well as the viper pst gen2. Both are excellent options. But. Bang for the buck. I’d say primary arms killed it on the compact platinum series Japanese made and all around near perfect. Biggest thing I noticed. The bezel around the eye piece disappears when looking through the scope

I've almost bought one of these PLxC several times but I keep hearing mixed reviews on the 1x performance especially with the "daylight red" illumination. My Razor II 1-6 provides almost the same performance as a good red dot at 1x and that's important to me. Which do you like better at 1x shooting at 20 yards an under and why?

Looked through all of them and ultimately settled on the Kahles K16i with the 3GR reticle. Vudu would be an excellent optic if the illumination was daylight bright (RDS bright). It's right in-between daylight visible and daylight bright. If it was brighter, I'd put it higher than a lot of other scopes on the market, but since it's not quite there due to FFP design limitations, it lags behind some of the competition.

Nothing beats the reticles on the primary arms Optics. They have the easiest and fastest ranging reticles. May I suggest a test of speed & use for part 2 of this comparison. Lots of politics and back room deals go in to things being adopted by the military. More about the bottom line than quality or safety of a soldier.... Sad but true!
